How The HSE Global Series Foundation Is Supporting The World Of Safety - with Paul Clark

Listen Later

Colin talks to Paul Clark, CEO of HSE Global Series, a global events series in North America, Middle East, United Kingdom, Europe & Africa, providing physical-based events that supply the world’s leading content and senior leadership engagement.

Paul discusses the work that the HSE Global Series Foundation is doing in spreading the safety message to all corners of the world, and building a place to where professionals can turn in the event of challenge.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • The consensus of the global series - its driving force - is to spread positivity, and to promote safety and wellness for all.
  • Fatalities and incidents happen all the time, but there seems to be no clear chain of support that helps sufferers in the immediate aftermath of such trauma.
  • Future ambitions are for charitable events to be held in order to raise money in order to create a fund for all safety professionals to draw if incidents occur.

BEST MOMENTS

'I only keep the joy and happiness I have in life by giving back to others'

'We're putting on events that really help people'

'What can we do to give back when and if these incidents happen?'

'We create environments where people can learn and gain insights into how they can reduce incidents'
