Nearly 80 per cent of single mothers are in paid employment, while 84 per cent have completed secondary education and have a University degree or TAFE qualification.

But despite their work status and educational achievements, many single mothers say they're worried about their long-term financial security. And while the picture is complicated, stigma and stereotypes are playing a role we can change.
