How To Deal with Imposter Syndrome, Comparisonitis + Self-Sabotage
Do you suffer with imposter syndrome as a freelancer or business owner? If so, please know that you’re not alone my love! As well as doubting yourself, comparing yourself and potentially sabotaging your own success, imposter syndrome can be a BIG issue for a lot of freelancers. On the show today I’m here to lend a few words of advice and guidance if you’re struggling with this in business.
I want you to know too, that even very successful people including world leaders, celebrities and top athletes suffer with feelings of self-doubt from time to time – so this isn’t because you’re not doing things right!
Imposter syndrome is a completely normal part of the experience of doing anything new and unchartered for yourself, and likely will show up in areas of your business where you are learning new skills or stepping outside of your comfort zone – for example, filming yourself for Instagram stories or getting up on stage to present to an audience.
