    5 Addicted Stars!!!
This is hands down my favorite series. I am so deeply connected and attached to these characters!!!!!
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this book. I knew Thrive would cover the material from Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower, but from Lily and Lo's point of view. Is this going to be repetitive? Is this going to be boring? I was very excited to read it (because I just can't get enough of the characters and I miss them) but I was afraid it would not be quite as exciting as the next installment of brand new material.
    But I was wrong.
This book had TONS of new material in it. There were a few scenes that I remember from the other perspectives given in KTS and HHF, but the majority of this book was brand new. Krista and Becca Ritchie are so talented. I love their writing and I love how they put a different spin on things we have already read about. Props, ladies!!!
Let me just say that Lily cracks me UP!!!
""What do you want for your birthday?" C0ck." ***choke, splutter, laugh!**
    "Shut up vagina." LMAO.
Lily is funny, she is sweet, she is painfully shy and she is ashamed of her addiction. And I love every bit of her.
But most of all, I love Lily and Lo together.
"He hugs me close. There is nowhere safer than in Loren Hale's arms."
Loren's POV really, really pulled on my heartstrings. He is an unapologetic @sshole, but he does care what everyone else thinks. He wants approval from Lily, from Ryke, from his father. He wants to make Lily happy. He wants to be worthy of her.
"I'm going to love Lily how I want to love her. Overwhelmingly, umcompromisingly."
"Our love is rare. It's one I can't abandon, even if I tried. .... When she loves, I truly, truly fly."
Lo loves Lily so completely. He makes me melt. But reading about his rough patch was so hard for me. Even though I already knew from HHF that he was going to struggle with his addiction, reading about it from his perspective was so emotional.
My favorite part is seeing how Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke all interact with each other. These 6 characters have such a bond. They stick together through good times and bad times. They fight, they bicker, they love, they support, they are family.

    Amazing
Such an amazing story that I just couldn't put down. Now I can't wait to read the next one. Drive me crazy - here I come.
    Very Enjoyable Romance
This book was a fun quick read. I enjoyed the characters and the story line. I was happy it wasn't really an insta-love relationship but still was a new relationship with all the butterflies :) There were a few hard, sad parts but in the end this was a love story with sexy rock stars.
The narration was ok, I enjoyed some things about her voice and didn't enjoy other parts. For the most part, she fit the story.
    This book was Alright
What did you love best about Crash into Me?
This was an alright book. The narrator messed up the ratings for this book because you couldn't tell if a male or female was speaking at too many points in the book. Other than that, the book was good.
    Great story
There were times when you couldn't tell who was speaking and they all sounded like little boys not yet reached puberty. The story was great.
Reduced with whisper sync, I wouldn't use a credit
It was an entertaining short story, but it felt jumpy in places. Where you would hear the characters in one situation and then suddenly they were somewhere else days later. It made it seem choppy and inconsistent at times, leaving you confused for a brief moment as to what is going on. The characters were decent, but could have been better is they were developed a bit more. The narrative was ok, but at times became monotonous in tone and wasn't always clearly identified if it was the H or h speaking until names were spoken. Overall it was a decent story but u wouldn't spend a lot on this book or a credit. I'm glad I bought the kindle edition for .99$ and only spent 1.99$ to upgrade the audiobook.

    A nice story
Gotta love these guys. Don't know many real guys like this though. A nice story but dragged out a bit. To be honest it was a couple of chapters too long which could have been fixed with good editing. I did actually get to the stage where I wanted to shout..... Just get to the point. Saying that nicely written and it's great having a guy read for a change. Worth listening to

    Such sweet sorrow
This one really exceeded my expectations. For the most part, I did not want to put it down! It is a very well-rounded novel that incorporates love, loss, strength, family, relationships, secrets, surprise, healing, etc. The main characters are easy to like, and I found myself rooting for all of them. Although the main subject matter of the plot is not a happy one, the novel continually shines. I laughed, I was touched, & was surprised in a great way. I read constantly, and this is one of my favorite novels of the year so far. I will be checking out the author again, for sure! The narration was amazing, I adore Julia Whelan and her performance here enhances the novel in my opinion. I was out of credits and purchased this one, and it was very much worth every penny!
    Great book
One of the biggest obstacles reading a book via Audible is liking the reader's voice. This narrator was great. The story was amazing. It was a great cry!
    amazing book. Loved the story.
Hard to read / listen to if you know someone who committed suicide, especially if they were family or significant other. Therapeutic for me.
An amazing book! and narrator ;)
This was a very thought provoking book. There were a few places tht had me in tears.
Just Another Sad Suicide Story? NOT!!
I fell in love with Cynthia Hand's writing while enjoying her Unearthly series, and I must say I was not disappointed with her latest. She has such a relatable way of approaching the subject of death and suicide that just touches the heart, and of coarse Miss Julia Whelan just knocked the narrating performance out of the park (as with anything she narrates). Keep these great stories coming Cynthia. This fan can't wait to see what's next!

"A graceful blend of heartbreak, humor and redemptive love." (Kirkus)
    Members Reviews:
Loved the story, not the narrator
I've read, or listened to, all of Jill Mansell's books and I really like her style of writing. Although predictable at times, she delivers a good quality British chick-lit story & never disappoints.
I've never heard a narrator of Mansell's books that I didn't like - until now. This narrator's voice droned on in a very boring fashion, and some of her voices for the characters were not good at all. At one point a male & female couple both had some bizarre Irish-sounding accent that made it hard to tell one from the other (although it hadn't started out that way). She did, however, capture the American accent very well (something that doesn't always happen). I won't purchase any other audiobook with this narrator because instead of drawing you into the story, her voice was very distracting.
    not my favorite
this was not my favorite Jill Mansell book. I usually can't wait to finish her books but this one took me 2 months to finish. wasn't into it.

    TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
If they liked the classics and tragic love stories...then absolutely yes!!!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Letter from an Unknown Woman?
I will remember all of this short story!
What does Heather Wood and K. Anderson Yancy bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
She was incredible..I give her a 5+..but the production was a little over the top, so I gave the performance a 4...the production was not necessary...Heather could have carried this all on her own!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Oh my...this would be a brilliant film....a winner indeed!
    Any additional comments?
** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **
This was a beautifully written and narrated tragic tale of unrequited love...a young girl becomes obsessed with a man in her building and through out the years takes every chance meeting and stays close to him..they have a love affair of sorts, but he is a ladies man and never keeps her close to him or even remembers her...she has a son by him, and loses him..this death devastates her and everything comes out in a letter and she dies...Nowadays her behavior would be considered stalking...lol Beautiful and well worth a listen!
Tough 2 Hear With Background Music & Sound Effects
I found this story to be compelling but the side of sound effects and background music overwhelming. It is unfortunate as I wanted to hear the book but it was lost in a lot of noise.
The narration was good, when I could hear it. K. Anderson Yancy sent me an email before I listened explaining the type of performance I should expect (think of families gathered round the radio in the 30's, listening to stories and shows-before the advent of TV.) Perhaps if things were a bit quieter [except the narration] I'd have enjoyed it more.
    Notes: no warning here.
*I received this book in exchange for my review. Thank you for reading it and if you found it helpful, would you please select yes immediately following this text. Thank you.
    Innovative vs. Amateur...
What would have made Letter from an Unknown Woman better?
I suppose, as one of the other reviews mentioned, it should be thought of as an old radio drama, but for me the sound effects where cloying. Yes, I know what footsteps sound like. Yes, I can imaging what it sounds like when a door opens. In fact I prefer to imagine, which is why I'm listing to a book and not watching a movie. The volume of the effects was also too high, and didn't seem consistent.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The story is the story. Some might like it, some might not. Not exactly my thing, but an interesting idea for a short story.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narration was... committed, consistent, and valiant, but overdone.

A crucial book in the series!
Would you consider the audio edition of Ricochet to be better than the print version?
I really need this series to become a TV series and the Audiobooks took me a little close to that. It is awesome.
What did you like best about this story?
So many amazing moments, the therapy sessions, the beggining of Raisy!!! Coballoway bits, seeing how strong Lily is in these months without Lo and how sweet he is with her now.
Which character as performed by Erin Mallon was your favorite?
She is Lily, so... I actually loved the narrator's performance, she's done the book justice once again.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The part when Lily is in terapy and she finds out why she is an addict is so amazing, so important and crucial for this series! Krista and Becca Ritchie actually speak to us on a emotional level.
    Any additional comments?
I think we all can relate to the characters in a way and seeing them grow and heal together is pretty amazing.
    perfect balance
A perfect balance of sex and emotion. Sexual tension without a release button. I found myself both craving Lily and pitying her
    Favorite everything!
Erin Mallon is such a great pick for Lily, she captivates her perfectly + she does amazing voices for the rest of the characters as well - even the guys! She's become my favorite narrator, and it's only fitting she's narrating my favorite character in my favorite series :D
I really do love this series with all my heart, and would recommend it to anyone - the entire series, audio or otherwise. And especially if you're like me and enjoy real and flawed, but still completely lovable characters, and love watching as they grow and work through their struggles - together. It's heavy and emotional, and so incredibly gratifying when they come out on top. To break up all the underlying heavy, there is of course also lots of banter, fun and awkward moments sprinkled everywhere. Lily's inner monologue is pretty priceless :D
    Lo and Lily
    Excellent book. Excellent series.

    The Cowboy Earns a Bride
Where does The Cowboy Earns a Bride rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
Probably a 5. It was one of the better stories in this series. Luke had a lot of romance in his soul even though at times he could be a bit dense when it came to Mia.
What did you like best about this story?
The romance at times that was displayed by Luke. Even though he had a hard time "getting it" in his relationship with Mia, he was a kind, giving, protecting kind of a guy.
    Which scene was your favorite?
When Luke had to help Autumn deliver her baby. Also when Mia had her baby he was so loving and giving in that situation. Luke helping the elderly lady which no one knew about was very sweet.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have loved to have listened to it all in one sitting but wasn't able to but I did finish it pretty quickly because the story kept me interested.
    Any additional comments?
I did get frustrated with Mia at times because she didn't get it and kept trying to over do it just to prove she could. Overall she was one of the better females in this series. This couple had way too many misunderstandings!
    Another Incredible Series
What made the experience of listening to The Cowboy Earns a Bride the most enjoyable?
How true it stayed to the family unit. Laughter, Tears, Thoughts of wanting to kill one of your bonehead relatives. LOL The LOVE the couples had for each other was amazing.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Cowboy Earns a Bride?
    Pamela and Jacks births.
Which character as performed by Amy Rubinate was your favorite?
    Luke and Mia
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    YES and I did.
    Any additional comments?
Again Ms Rubinate's narration of the book, like all the other in this series were REMARKABLE in bringing Cora Setons characters to life and giving them a voice.
    Disappointing
Really disappointed with this-it was very boring to be honest. Mia was very unlikable to me and in reality, I think Luke would have told her to "do one" a long time ago with her spoil brat behaviour!! First Cora Seton book that was a chore to listen to........

Love this series - Love the characters
Jake and Marcy's had a beautiful love story. I laughed out loud, was appalled at the treatment of Marcy's family and happy that she found her way with Jake.
I have listened to all of the other books in this series. I fell in love with the characters.
Kathleen Brooks and Eric G Dove didn't disappoint!
If you enjoyed the books in this series you will definitely like this one. If you haven't had the opportunity to read this series - this novella may spark your interest.
Bluegrass... love all of her books and audible versions with Eric G. Dove as narrator. They make me feel like I've come home.
I lived through the Viet Nam war time and it was just as her book/audible version states...it was horrible. This story softened it with the love and honor and commitment shown by all.
    Fantastic!
The Bluegrass books by Kathleen Brooks are definitely some of my all-time favorites! Bluegrass Dawn is no exception. Ms. Brooks takes us back to when Jake and Marcie are teenagers and it was such a pleasure to hear their story, which included all of my favorite characters from previous books I have read, only they are much younger!
The narrator did a wonderful job of switching between characters, both male and female, which is often my least favorite part of audiobooks.
I can't wait to listen to more from this author and narrator!
    Short But Sweet
Wish this could have been longer but was good anyway. Love the little town of Keeneston and all of the character's. This was the beginning of what became the Davies family. Jake and Marcy are such wonderful parent's in the other book's that it is neat to hear their story. Wish I could have jerked Marcy's mother bald headed. In fact her whole family were nitwit's. But as in most cases she became stronger. Even ended being a better person and parent than they ever thought of being. I am chomping at the bit waiting for your women of power series to be put on audible.com Ms. Brooks! Do hope Eric G. Dove narrates them also.
    Fantastic Novella
I loved it, another great novella by Kathleen Brooks.
I love Jake and Marcy from the Bluegrass series. I was so glad when Kathleen did this book. You heard about their adventures in the bluegrass series but this book tells those adventures and so much more.
