I loved the ending to their story. It was a bit rocky and took them too long to get it together but once they did, their love was truly beautiful. This story takes a bit of a turn I wasn't sure if it was going to but it works out perfect. Very sweet and emotional!

The narration was good, it fit the story well.

Awesome

This sequel to Behind These Walls continues the story of the couple who had been through a heart transplant and all the things that led up to it. As the story begins in this audiobook, they marry and have a wonderful honeymoon. But sometimes the unexpected has a way of changing everyone's lives and they must come to a decision- whether or not some things are worth risking everything for. Great narration and love the ending!

A highly satisfying love story

Part II of Jude and Lailah's journey of love. I don't want to give away any huge plot details, so suffice it to say that Lailah, a heart transplant recipient, unexpectedly gets pregnant, a potential death sentence. You really must read book 1, Within These Walls, before starting this story. Great story, and excellent narration by both readers. Highly recommended!

Very good love story but not for everyone

The story is a very good one and different but if you have any hang ups about sex/relationships between two men then the book is not for you. I bought the book without reading a lot of reviews just because I had read and liked some of the previous ones on the series and at first I thought about returning it. However since I do not have an issue about bisexuality or homosexuality and I saw the story did have some back bone I decided to continue with it and really liked it.

Not what I expected or would normaly choose.

Narration was good. Overall it was okay. Would like to have next to be more.traditional.

The Coleman Family Dynamic Is Missing-I Missed It!

I adore the Six Pack Ranch and the Coleman family of books. However, this one was not a favorite. There was constant sex. Sex between Travis, Cassidy & Ashley. All three at once, two of them, the other two & the other two Other than that there really wasn't much.

I was missing the tie to the other Colemans and the Six Pack Ranch. It was there in the very beginning, they went away for the summer to help a group start up, and no contact until the very end and that was it.

As I write this, I am discovering that that was my biggest problem with the book. There was barely any interaction with the family members.

While there was lack of interaction with the Coleman family we are introduced to the Thompson Family, a spin off that the author has made about brothers that own a garage. If you like motor heads, you'll like them. You can see my review for the first book here:

The writing is definitely Vivian Arend but it did not meet up to the plot of past books. That disappoints me a little. I love the series in its entirety, this was just a weaker book. I'm so excited to read the seventh book in the Six Pack Ranch series. It is next on my reading list.

This series just gets better and better, book by book!

I received this book as an advanced read and in exchange I had to provide a frank and honest review and I wasn't disappointed! The story is just getting better and better! Be warned that this part 2 of I don't know how many installments and it does end on a cliff-hanger and now I CANNOT wait for part 3 and 4 and how many more to come. If you read the other reviews some have provided a synopsis of the book so I won't do that here but please know that this series is definitely worth your time, I am thoroughly enjoying it and cannot for the next installment in the series. It's funny (the dropped cookies is something that would happen to me) and I think I work with some of the characters in this book. But I really would love to meet a guy with the same color eyes that are described in the book. Well done, Sky...keep it coming!!

What Happened???

After reading Part One, I have to say that I was disappointed with this one. What happened??? I agree with the previous reviewer who said this was just a "tease", nothing more. I had expected this to have been on the same level of heat as the first. It's as if the first one was an "R" rating, and this one was just "PG". That said, I will be looking forward to the third one, and hopefully, it will be more like the first, but only better! Hope the wait isn't too long.

Capital Bride: Book 1

I enjoyed this story. It flows nicely, with just enough Sparks to keep me intrigued to the last chapter. I recommend this book.

Same old same old!

Predictive. Have read the same story line over and over. Reader voices not well done.

Painful...couldn't finish

I really wanted to like this book, I like the premise, it could have been a great light read/listen. However the writing is horrible, truly horrible, it was awkward. I wasn't able to finish the book.

This romantic western mail-order bride story has some really interesting twists & turns. It holds your interest very well throughout the entire book.

This book was so dang cute! I loved the main characters... You just know the H and h are gonna get together even though the H is married... so what ... is wife was a royal B*yotch!!! So good for him for divorcing her... this book did the H justice as he stay true to his marriage right up until the end... even though his wifey had the pool boy, the gardener and other coming in and out of her bed!! Lol...

A SEAMLESS COMPELLING STORY THAT DRAWS YOU IN

You really get a feel for this small town in Maine and it's quirky inhabitants, monthly weird and wonderful Festivals and the total lack of eligible men. Then there's the feisty and funny bartender Saffron who's had to resort to online dating with funny and disastrous encounters. Scottish handsome Logan has been coming into the bar for six months, he's mysterious, he's been watching Saffron and he talks to other people but not her - even though she carries on talking to him and baiting him to speak to her with one-way conversations, jokes and her life's anecdotes. That is until there's a food fight down Main Street during the Swordfish Festival which finally breaks his resolve..... and from then on it's a tender beautiful love story.

There's fun, drama, angst, life threats, secrets, mystery, danger, heartbreak, great secondary characters and Logan and Saffron a loveable couple who fall deeply in love..... but sadly it's a doomed relationship from the start. As well as that, there is a very poignant tragic sad love story between her Father figure of a friend who is over 90 and that storyline is threaded throughout the main story. Told from Saffron's POV with some funny internal thoughts by her and it's really well narrated by Cris Dukehart who easily managed all the various different accents called for.

Worth a credit? Oh YEAH it definitely would have been but it was a bargain at under $10 and so I saved my credit for a higher priced listen but one that may not be as well-written, entertaining, amusing and as enjoyable as this was.

Breath taking with every emotions to feel!!

Best storytelling I have come across for awhile. Laughter, love, jealously, hate, forgiveness and more. .

A Favorite !

This is one of my favorite Rachel Gibson books and was thrilled to see it was out on Audible now ! I loved listening to the story - it was good & entertaining. I recommend this to anyone who likes contemporary romance books. Great chemistry between the characters !

WTF, Batman?!

I'm about three-quarters through this book and I have to say I am soooo over the angst. I love Rachel Gibson novels mostly because they are fun and sexy and have characters that are easy to like. But, this one has so far been a UBER let down. Even this far into the book, I cannot make myself like or root for the heroine. I think the secret she kept from Jack is unforgivable and I cannot see this working out. All of her excuses for why she kept her secret were lame, unfounded, and completely selfish. Not only did this lowdown woman keep a horrible secret from a man she claims to have "loved, " but she married his best friend to boot. WTF, Rach? I can't help assuming at this point that any HEA would be totally forced. I want my money back. This chick is not heroine material.

*The overall 3 stars is because I enjoy listening to Kathleen Early.

Very enjoyable

I really liked this story. The sweet friendship of the school children followed by betrayal and then the home coming worked very well.

This story was perfect. Perfect pacing and characters and depth. Loved every minute and didn't want it to end. Love how Jack learned to forgive.

Rachel Gibson books are always a good romantic escape. Nothing very heavy or deep, but a nice read about characters who seem real, dealing with everyday problems and finding love along the way.

Pretty good.

no one in this book has a healthy romantic relatonship. at some level each love is tragic. the main characters Rory and Houston have what could be an enviable love until you see how weak they were because of it. this story is well developed with great sex scenes. can't call them love scenes.

This is one good book. If you do not listen to this one you are really missing out. Well worth a purchase forget the credit.

emotionally draining but impossible to put down. my heart hurt after reading this story, you love it and hate it all in the same breath. I wanted to hate these characters based on lack of morals but at the same time you can't help but feel for them, the deceit that surrounds them, and not even purposefully is wrenching to the core. great story but like I said...heavy.

What did you love best about The Way We Fall?

This was one story that kept me glued to my iPhone. It was raw and emotional and even unimaginable (the letter). When reading a story like this, or in my case, listening to one, it's natural to root for love, believing that true love always wins. But sometimes things happen differently than we imagined. The only thing that I would have enjoyed more would have been if the female audio performer spoke all of Rory's parts and the male audio performer spoke all of Houston's parts. Even still, I definitely recommend this audiobook.

Great Book!

Great book. Wish it hadn't ended when it did, though. It was a bit abrupt. Wanted to hear about wedding details, how they got along after moving in n, etc.

Not polished, but potential

I found the narrator distracting, and the characters were somewhat weakly developed for my liking, but I think that story line was good. I doubt I'll buy another audio book read by this narrator. I really don't like giving negative reviews because I know how challenging it is to get that perfect balance between plot and character development. I certainly admire the dedication it takes to see such a project through!
