This is a great book; this is the eighth book in the Domestic Equalizers series written by Dixie Cash and narrated by Pam Dougherty. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.

The narrator Pam Dougherty did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didnt want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

I really am enjoying the narration this book is very well read and makes the story so much better. I don't have one complaint. It's funny, just enough sex and drama to keep me on the edge of my seat. I love the friendships and the story is nothing like the typical romances we are use to.

Dark, edgy, worth it.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting when I picked this title, needless to say I was taken aback by this books intense grasps on dark emotion and unrequited love between the main characters. I thoroughly enjoyed both of their personalities and was truly delved deep into the abyss of love, anger and pain on this beautiful story. I recommend.

Unbound

This was my favorite book out of all 3. Love both narrator's in this book. Laughed a lot between Raven and Raleigh's sibling rivalry and Nova's personality.....can't wait for a book 4

8 hours, I can never get back. I like most books I listen to or read, but this just didn't cut it. Not a very good story. Very disappointing.

LOVED It!

This was by far the best of the three. Deep emotions and narration much better.

Best of the trilogy!

The perfect amount of angst broken by laugh-out-loud comedy with both sweet and hot romance mixed in, made this a great and enjoyable read! The narrators were the perfect fit and did a fantastic job!

Mmmm WASN'T BAD... BUT WASN'T GREAT EITHER

The way L.D. Davis constructs a story kept my interest but Darla (the heroine) was so annoying as she went from Heroes Connor to Cade and back again - declaring her love to both. One was a destructive love and one was a empowering love but Darla wasn't satisfied with either man as she talked about her dreams of gaining more baking experience in countries far and wide. But, before she got the chance to spread her wings, tragedy strikes and Darla's whole world imploads.

It's great to have dreams.. but I just didn't like the way Darla strung both men along and neither one deserved it - IMO they both should've kicked her to the curb and found somebody better because there was no pleasing this frustrating woman. These two men would've given her anything, would've died for her and they loved her unconditionally and yet Darla was still miserable. Yes, she was conflicted and confused but, as the toxic relationship with Cade started to fall apart, she shouldn't of ventured into a second relationship with the unsuspecting Connor knowing that she couldn't commit long-term. This single POV storyline didn't make for a great listen and I thought the narrator's voice was a bit too young for the ages of all the characters.

Worth a credit? For me this was an ok listen.. but creditworthy NO because there are far better stories out there to spend your credit on.

Good Story But "InstaLove" Too Soon!

My first Lauren Landish audio and overall it was a satisfying listen with a decent plot but the instaLove was way too soon. This is one of those stories that had elements I both liked and disliked.

Dane's character was great. He's just been released from military prison, and due to his charges, most of society looks down on him. He's just trying to get his life back together, but when he meets Abby, he feels a connection and begins to think it is possible for him to find love. Abby's character was just ok.

Overall, a decent story with conflict, plot twists, and some steamy romance. I would definitely listen to another audio by Lauren Landish. The plot moves at as steady pace, but the "instalove" was way too instant. I think it would have been more appealing if it didn't happen right after Abby was attacked. I know it's hard to develop relationships in short stories, but I like better when the characters at least know each other some before sleeping together.

Melissa Moran did a great job with the narration.

Absolutely Delightful!!!

Both Lauren Landish and Melissa Moran knocked this book out of the park! Lauren is an extremely talented author and Melissa is exceptionally talented performer. This is probably my favorite book of Lauren's that I have read or listened to so far. The story was so much more than the typical new adult romances. There are unexpected twists, great suspense, hopefulness, humor, and terrific love scenes. The narrator added so much to this book with her expressions, urgency, and emotions that one would not get in just reading the book. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with a review copy audiobook. This book is a standalone listen and does not end in a cliffhanger.

Off Limits

Dane, I loved that he was such a bad boy, but also such a sweetheart.

Dane is dishonorably discharged military who just got out of Leavenworth and moved to Atlanta because he had one friend who stood by him and that's where he lived. Right away Dane proves that he is an honorable and loveable man. Determined and desperately seeking to improve his life...an uphill battle.

Abby is a senior in college, southern and spoiled and over protected by her father but sweet and very likable as well.

I loved this book!!

You know the saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, well luckily for Roman that isn't necessary true.

Roman meets Pippa in the hotel lobby and is instantly attracted to her. Knowing each other for 6 hours the decide to get married. While this fills a hole in Roman he didn't want to admit he had, this has disastrous consequences for Pippa and her job.

Pippa is a relationship expert and self help author and her entire career is based on a person following their head and not their heart. Knowing a man for 6 hours and getting married isn't practicing what she is preaching.

In order to save her reputation, she surprises Roman at his farm and comes to an agreement. However, the one thing they didn't count on was the chemistry that is still lingers between them.

When push comes to shove, will she fight for her marriage with Roman or try and fix her career?

Roman's Choice

Roman just might be my favorite book boyfriend, he's what most every woman wants in her man. I'm pretty sure Pippa agreed, even from the beginning. I loved Pippa also, and I think she really is Roman's best choice.

One of the best lines I have ever heard comes from this book. Marriage ain't always rainbows and sprinkle farting unicorns. Now you have to read so you can find how this line was used. I totally recommend this book

I'M GLAD I LOOKED INSIDE THIS SIZZLING ROMANCE

Eleanor had a fantasy man living in the Penthouse across from her and she has been voyeuristically watching him or a year.. watching him having kinky sex, watching him casually and confidentially move around his bedroom and, as she watched him, she longed to be the next woman whose tied to his bed. But, in Eleanor's mind, she was just a boring Museum Librarian.. until she started to wear her sister's sexy clothes and then she came up with a devious plan to seduce her fantasy man.. one Trey Riordan her successful charismatic sexy high rise neighbor. However, Eleanor wasn't prepared for the sizzles, the sparks, the chemistry and the very human man that she met when her fantasy life and real life fused together.

Trey wasn't having any luck with women.. oh he could get them easily enough and sex wasn't the issue.. but there was something missing inside him because he didn't feel passionate, romantic or energized while dating - there wasn't any substance. Because, before the book finishes, Eleanor will go through a huge learning curve thanks to Trey's wonderful words, pushing of sexual boundaries and his thoughtful actions.. and Eleanor comes out of it a changed woman with a changed man by her side. Their journey of self-discovery and learning was wonderful to witness and I stayed up half the night captivated by their dual POV love story. There were mildish sub/Dom and bdsm kinky sex scenes mixed in with their hot sexcapades, family drama, a wicked twist, scenes where tender feelings were shared.. and a sweet and romantic HEA Epilogue. This story by Beth Kery was awesome and the narration by Maxine Mitchell was, as usual, brilliant and I just love her male voice.

I couldnt take it!

I loved book 1 and 4. Book 2 I didnt make it past the first chapter. The voices of the two main characters were horrible. I am so disappointed. I gave 5 stars to the story even though I didnt listen to it, because all the books have been good so far. I am sorry, I just couldnt take the voice of the two ladys in chapter one.
