Love Shane!

This fourth audiobook in Jo Ravens Damage Control series was just great listening. Be forewarned that if you have any issues with triggers such as rape, you shouldnt listen to this book. The hero, Shane, has intimacy issues and frequent PTSD flashbacks from what happened to him while he was falsely imprisoned. The heroine, Cassie, has loved him for a long time and wont give up on him. What neither of them knew is that there is something going on behind the scenes that is making things worse for him. The story has a great ending and the narration was very well done. Jo Raven just keeps writing better books with each one she writes!

Mila had loved Roman forever, even when he got her cousin pregnant. He refused to marry the cousin and raise his son himself. When his mother had a heart episode, and his son was found with a bottle of pills he rushed to the hospital along with the rest of his family. As he was getting the doctors report, he fainted. His appendix burst. So he, his estranged mother and his son all ended up in the same wars in the hospital. Mila, not to be left out, offered him her virginity....fun book....

Not Your Typical Romance - Refreshingly So!

I loved it because it had the same ups and downs that life has - the same problems - the same joys - the same issues - with a lot of humor, compassion and understanding - mostly displayed by Tate who is wiser than his years when he's not acting like a typical 13 year-old. Refreshing heroine too, and in general, not your typical love story. Good read - looking forward to reading her other books!

Trouble,big time.

Delores Fossen writes very good stories with great characters fun, some action, which could be fighting or loving. Love her books and I have never been disappointed. This one was great.

This story was great! Mila was in love with Roman her entire life. It took him thirty plus years to realize he loved her too.

A sweet read that keeps your attention.

A nice western romance--I enjoyed the way Delores Fossen writes. I will read other books by this author.

Rollercoaster

Clare, Eric, Travis, Reed and Paul. This book was full of ups and downs in relationships. Clare and Eric and Travis. Clare and Eric. Clare and Reed. Clare and Eric. Clare and Paul. Clare and Eric. It goes back and forth so much, it's hard to keep up with who is in the relations with Clare and when. It's such a sexually charging book, you just can't put it down, you have to know what happens next and to whom will the relationship be jeopardized. This book has it all. It's a must read for anyone looking for a great, quick read. Meredith Wild and Miami Michelle are as always, writing geniuses.

I will tell you this. I have read many erotica books and this literally takes the cake. I read this book in less then a day. I didnât want to put it down. I was so turned by the way it was written. If I could give this a higher rating I would. So I started misadventures of a valedictorian Thursday night. Well I finished it yesterday. And all I have to say is holy hotness!!! This was so frustrating. Book wrote from back to front a narrator I could just barely tolerate and a ridiculous story line from what I had the patience to read. This is GARBAGE and I expected so much more from Mrs. Clark.

A little disappointed

So the only reason I keep reading is to see if her dad comes back and now I'm going to have to buy another drawn out book just to finally find out if he does come back? And have to wait again too?

Ok you guys, or should I say you girls... or actually, hey ya'll, this book is the shizznit!

If you like romance you will love this book. If you like feeling frustrated at someone through almost an entire story, you will love this book. If you like happy endings, you will love this book. If you've ever had hopes that one day a handsome, kind, generous billionaire would fall in love with you, you will definitely love this book. If you want a book to make you FEEL, then you will love this book.

Seriously, buy this book!

Anne Best is a widow and mother of two. She's startled to be invited to interview for a job in New York as an executive assistant. She feels out-classed and over-aged as she sits in the waiting room looking at all the eager, young candidates. When her name is finally called, she nervously enters the interview room to see a gorgeous older man sitting there. Then he opens his mouth.

Her temper flares and she tells him off, ready to go back home to Texas and call it all a waste of time. But he hires her. He's not as bad as first impressions would seem and Anne becomes determined to find him a match (matchmaking being her hobby) to the detriment of everyone and everything else.

You will want to slap her, but you'll be rooting for her the whole time.

I laughed, I cried a few times. I LOVED Gram. If a certain something had gone differently with Gandalf (buy the book if you want to know) I would have been devastated. I couldn't put it down.

CAVEATS:

Now, if your'e on Amazon you'll see a couple of 2 star reviews. I was shocked but I read them. I actually don't disagree with their points.

Point 1: The book is a bit long for the story. It's hard to whittle it down as an author after pouring your heart and soul onto the pages for months or years. I do think this could do with some paring down. As far as grammatical and spelling errors, there were a few but not so many as to be distracting. I've found the same number of errors in books from the big publishing houses. Not a big deal.

Point 2: Getting frustrated with Anne and her internal dialogue. I literally wanted to choke her out sometimes. She does over-think EVERYTHING and Steven does have to coddle her. But let me ask you this, don't you know somebody who's like that? I sure do! They exist.

Also, if you've read romance before you know that it's very formulaic - in a good way. Frustration is par for the course. It's all about delayed gratification. Greater frustration and buildup means more satisfaction at the end. Right ladies? ;)

life is what you make it

Omg! I love this story!! Nora Ash is a new to me author that I will continue to follow. Mira and Blane will sweep you into their gritty, scary funny life. The heat level of their relationship if off the chain. This is a must read for anyone who loves a mafia bad boy with a heart of gold and a panty melting British accent.

All good things come in threes...

Oh man where do I even try to begin to explain this book because oh my lawd it was pure hotness on a freaking stick! Carmen Jenner has this uncanny ability to make her characters likable and you canât help but to fall in love with them. Its official Iâm a Taint Groupie and proud of it. I love all those boys le sigh.

Before I begin, two words: Love Triangle. And I've read love triangle stories before but this one will tug at your heart strings a bit and just like the heroine youâll fall head over heels for both men.

Cooper Ryan is introduced in the Sugar Town series. Heâs Hollyâs ex; the one who left his girl behind to pursue his dream of being a rock star and in the process he loses his girl and child to a man from his womanâs past. From that moment on Coop becomes jaded and heart broken. He doesn't know how heâll make it through until the moment he meets Ali Jones. And in that instant he knows he has to have her, so he makes her a part of his contract demands. He wants her as the bandâs PA no matter the cost. Letâs just say things get a whole lot interesting.

As always Carmen knows how to make her heroines sassy, witty, feisty, and funny as all hell. She did not disappoint with Ali. Her dialogue always had me laughing out loud. She may hate Coopâs guts but she canât help being attracted to his smirk and his arrogant swag. Seriously, I donât blame her at all. Coop is one beautiful sexy man whoâs vulnerable and sweet yet a total alpha.

Holy banter and sexual tension. Ugh the threesome is what makes this book bloody worth it because ladies not only is Coop hot but thereâs also Levi, Zed, and Ash. Yummy. I love them all!!!

So letâs take a moment to appreciate Levi Quinn. Heâs got a heart of gold and a massive c**k. Heâs also vulnerable and he protects himself by being the womanizer and the jokester. Like Coop, heâs attracted to Ali and ultimately it comes down to who does Ali stay with at the end?

This book will give you everything; angst, sexy time, humor, and hot rock stars. I salute you Carmen, and I anxiously await the arrival of more Taint!!!

Good Story!

I thought this was a good story. The constant name calling got a bit tedious after awhile and started to feel very juvenile. I understand it may have been Novaâs way of making Tanner think she didnât like him. But it started to smack of junior high school. Also I do not like flashbacks and this author uses them frequently. There were some other things mentioned in the book that didnât add up but most authors seen to have that issue. We the readers read for content but we also scrutinizes as we are reading.

Blended Families

I loved this story. Two different people, different back grounds. Both had rough child hoods even though one had everything but love. Love can conquer anything.

Sweet...

I liked seeing the other side of these characters, whom I had a taste of in the first story. I wish I could've gotten just a but more, and sadly I'm not enough of a word smith to explain what the more could be. But its still a lovely story.

Great book

well written, steamy and sweet

Love Blooms is an emotional story of making it on your own. Nova is a young, single mother who's trying to make a better life for her son and herself. She owns her own hair styling and makeup business on Martha's Vineyard, where she's lived ever since she came there to be with her Native grandmother after fleeing an abusive ex and a deadbeat, alcoholic mother. She has an older half-brother, Wylie, who's a great father figure to her son, Teo, and a great brother to her. If only his friend and business partner, Tanner, didn't irritate her and get under her skin so much.

But of course, he only gets under her skin because she's so attracted to him, that's a given :) Still, she fights it like crazy because she has this thing about not depending on anyone, even though in reality, she does depend upon her brother, her grandmother, any number of people. She doesn't have a good history with men, though, and she doesn't want to set herself up for more pain by allowing Tanner into her life anymore than he already is as an honorary uncle to Teo.

Tanner's persistent, though, and patient, and soon they're indulging in a steamy little fling.
