SAD!!

Good book but very sad. Would have liked it if it was a bit longer

I have no regrets with Christina Lee's REGRET! This m/m, 2nd chance romance will have you by the chest till the very end! Although I wished it was longer, Michael Pauley's narration of Brin AND Nick, had me listening in one sitting. I can listen to Michael all day so that was a bonus but Nick's inner struggle and yearning for Brin had me from the beginning and Brin's own doubts and already broken heart will have you hoping for a HEA for these two at the end. Lee writes from deep within, penning emotions that everyday people struggle with. She shares with her readers/listeners heart break, first crushes, loss, doubt, denial, regrets, but also lust, yearning and finally falling in love again. I give REGRET and Michael Pauley's deliciously sexy voice five aching stars!

What did you love best about The Maxfield Brothers: The Complete Series?

I was already a fan of the novels. This audiobook set brought the dominating, charming and opinionated allure of the Maxfield brothers to life. That overpowering energy and that hint of charming sex appeal was put on full display.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Maxfield Brothers: The Complete Series?

There were a number of winner moments for me. The top contenders were whenever Mr. Brown tackled a female character. He rocked it with Angie, Carolina and Daisy. The fiesty demeanors, rebellious spirit and temptation all flowed freely from his lips with no qualms. Magic in motion.

What about Connor Browns performance did you like?

I wasn't completely sure about a male narrator for a romance trilogy. Imagine my surprise when he opened his mouth and charmed me with his skill. Connor Brown was a wonderful choice for this winning series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Author, characters and narrator took The Maxfield Brothers: The Complete Series to new heights. The sass was killer, the heat was intense and the drama was always on display. Love at first sight became love at first listen.

A Series about family, siblings and love

This series has three books, each theoretically a stand-alone story, but best experienced in order and in its entirety.

That said, it isn't just corporate romances, though that is the general setting. This story is about the patriarch of the Maxwell family, Duncan Maxwell, and his second chance at connecting with his three sons. It is about their opportunity to be a family. The three books gently explores the dynamics of sibling relationships. It includes the experiences of being the eldest, the middle and the youngest child. It covers the sometimes turbulent relationship between parent and child. It even incorporates the challenges of fighting for your beliefs, balancing family and work, and risking oneself for the opportunity of something better. It is clear that Leslie North knows how to write books that most readers can relate to on some level.

Despite all these themes, the stories are light and enjoyable. The listener gets to experience the progression of the characters' lives as they address their familial issues and literally mature through the length of the plot. I enjoyed Stephen, Gabe and Nathan's stories and Connor Brown's narration of The Maxwell Brothers' Series.

Wonderful Story!l

Living in Arizona I have a great respect for the "Hot Shot" firefighters. This book does a wonderful job at giving great insight into that profession as well as being a super sweet & sexy love story. Roxie Noir is an author whom I read and listen to. The narrators both did an excellent job by putting a lot of feeling and emotion into their performances. The style of narration is the dual narration (POV chapters) which was very well done. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I will definitely listen to this book again and highly recommend it! Aiden Snow has a wonderful voice that I so enjoy. Kasha Kensington was new for me, and I would listen to her again. This book is totally original and well worth a credit.

Torch how about NOT!

This was my first book by this author and i have to say I am very disappointed. The narration was on point, I bought this book because of Aiden Snow. But this book is sooooo boring he could not save it.

This is a pretty dumb story. Aiden Snow is vey good but having the female narrator doing his part ruined it. She sounded like a 5th grader.

However, Kasha Kensington has a horrible speaking voice. Everytime she speaks it's like nails on a black board. She needs to listen to herself speak and see how annoying she is. Awesome!!

This is my new favorite couple and book. Melissa never disappoints. Her books always fresh and amazing. This book is about Boyd and Janie. They both have things from their past to overcome. I cried and laughed. I highly recommend. BJ Harrison did an excellent job with the narration. Loved listening to this audio book!!!

Boyd is my new favorite Love in Bloom hero! Janie and Boyd both have obstacles to overcome in their life, but only Janie's is visible whereas Boyd's are inside. Janie is blind and fiercely independent, when her independence is derailed by a fall Boyd is there is help Janie see she can rely upon others. In helping Janie, She is able to help Boyd deal with the childhood trauma still haunting him. Janie and Boyd prove that love is about the whole person, inside and out - Boyd learns how to read Janie without being able to use her eyes and Janie learns how to help Boyd work through his internal trauma. Janie's best friend Kiki will show you the fierce love of a friendship that is truly sister of the heart. Your heart will melt when Janie "sees" Boyd for the first time and they become each other's heroes. This is my favorite Melissa Foster yet!

Listening to Mr Harrison really felt like I was able to connect more with Janie but also maybe gave a little insight into Boyd as well - I found myself closing my eyes more and trying to see the told through Janies lense when I was able to just listen to the novel. Bravo!

good book

This was a fast moving feel good type of love story for both Janie and Boyd. Both came into their relationship with a boat load of issues - Janie not wanting her blindness to impede her abilities and Boyd's issues with his tragic past to get in the way of his dreams of his love for Janie. Their fast moving, well written tale made it feel like it took place in the blink of an eye but the timeline worked for them.

This is the second book of the Bachelor Brotherhood series which is made up of 3 best friends who make a pact not to marry. The first friend meets his match in the first book and now it's Tyler's turn. This book can stand alone but you'll enjoy it more if you've heard the first book. Tyler and Lanie are two workacholic people that are put together as members of her cousin, Brittany and his best friend, Kevin's wedding. Not only are they workacholics but they don't believe in commitment. They have an attraction to each other and decide to keep their relationship secret from her cousin since she's always trying to be a matchmaker. Lanie is temporarily in Kansas City for her job so this will work out for both of them as a temporary relationship. Of course, there are several misunderstandings. The ending is the best yet! I love the way Denise Grover Swank is able to make each character different in every one of her books. Loretta Rawlins did a wonderful job as narrator. I hope I get to hear more from her. This is definitely worth a credit.

Once again BJ Harrison is amazing. While working out, doing dishes, and other horrible chores he manages to entertain me with his amazing voice, cadence, and feelings. I found myself not minding doing jobs and looking for reasons and places to listen to more of Siena and Cash's story.

Siena and Cash are HOT! Steamy hot! The minute they saw each other I could feel the sparks fly. I love that Siena is a top model yet she is down to earth and happy just hanging out in sweats and a sweatshirt. Cash is the absolutely most loyal person I have ever met. He never doubts Siena, he trusts her even as she gives him reason not to. When he is willing to put his feelings aside and give up the love of his life, all so Siena can have the modeling deal of a lifetime, I know that he is a true keeper.

With every installment of the Braden, Remington, and the Snow family the story gets better and better. Although each book can be read as a standalone book I highly recommend you check them all out. With each book I find a new crush and Cash is definitely the newest.

Two kinds of fear

Wonderful book. Melissa Foster always tells stories with such emotion, you feel like your in the story.

So we have cash the fire fighter.. now lets pause. Because I was just taught something I had never thought about. How emotional and how deep the pain can be for fire fighters. Cash wasnt able to save an elderly gentleman and he carries that loss in his heart. He looks after the wife, and he takes risk...scary risk at fires. Just to try and not loose another soul.

Sienna is a top model. Yes we hear how they need a perfect body. We know men ogle them. But Sienna is falling in love with Cash and her PR person is wanting her to date someone to enhance both there careers.

Excellent. I would have listened to it all in one sitting if I could have. It's written in true Fern Michaels style and what I call a personal growth book.

I almost never write reviews but I wasn't sure about buying this book for quite awhile because of the lack of reviews.

If you are familiar with Fern Michaels writing and liked books like Pretty Woman, Up Close and Personal, Mr. and Miss Anonymous and others like them then you will likely enjoy this one as well.

The narration is good. You know when it's a man or woman speaking and it's a pleasant voice to listen to.

Love on the slopes

Another wonderful book by Melissa Foster, and narration by BJ Harrison. I just love the voices. He is smooth and relaxing.

You have some Olympic Skiers come and help teach kids to ski, and figure out there lives.

Rush has been been best friends with Jayla since they were 13. He has been a womanizer thru there friendship, and Jayla has been madly in love with him. Rush is ready to confess his love, but he thinks he may have waited to long.

Jayla has given up on Rush to see her as anything more. She starts dating another member of the team, and shes keeping a big secret from the coach and everyone. Her should his injured again.

Very good love story with a lot of heart.

Amazing addition to The Remington Family.

When I listen to the audible version of Stroke of Love I find myself remembering why I love this series so much. The narrator is wonderful. He is able to portray the feelings, emotions, and reactions of the characters perfectly. BJ Harrison makes each character come to life.

I immediately fell for Sage, although he is a popular and successful artist, he is so down to earth and real. He knows what he wants to do and isnt doing it to make him more popular or to make him more money; he does it to make the world better or just because he wants to. He is not selfish and is really a breath of fresh air. The way he eases into Kates life and world, not letting Kates tough exterior keep him away or detour him from making a difference in the town or with the kids he is working for.

I am sure I say this about Melissa Fosters entire series, but it is amazing. They are each so perfectly written and with so much love and character I cannot stop reading. Each can be read as a stand-alone, but are so much more enjoyable as a series.

Gosh, Who Knew Politics Could Be So HOT!

I loved EVERYTHING about this one! The cleverly written story! The STEAMY, HOT, OFF THE CHARTS CHEMISTRY! The characters! The conflict of interest! The secret texts! The stolen moments! Ok, I didn't love everything.....why did she have to have all the dirt, and he was squeaky clean! At first, I was all Team Reagan, then comes the swoon worthy Jude with his seductive charming self, and I was a goner....All his teasing, flirty, and steadfast morals had me cheering for Team Jude! Wow! I loved how these authors pulled off the ending! I'm definitely getting the next audio in the series!

Loved the narration, Kirsten and Sebastian killed it!

Dirty Work was an AWESOME audio, and fun to listen too! I loved it! And all the sizzling hot chemistry! For me, it's FIVE STARS all the way! Well worth the time, credit or sale.

I was a little surprised that this was a political love story and I probably would have put this on my maybe someday list if I had know but I'm so glad I didn't. It's so much more than that, it is kind of an enemies to lovers story even if they weren't really enemies but everyone thought they should be.

I have to say I loved Jude from the beginning! He was a man that didn't play mind games, he knew what he wanted and he went for it. He was honest and had a goal and a plan and no matter how much it hurt others, he didn't sugar coat it, he said it like it was and not it a mean way at all. In the end this book had a great love story and was fairly hot too ;)

Narration was great... but that is no surprise with these two narrators!

Great Enemies to Lovers story!!

Dirty Work is the first book I've read by either of these authors and I was hooked from the first page till the last! It's an enemies to lovers and a bit of a forbidden romance also!

Jude and Reagan have amazing chemistry but are opponents in the race for Reagan's father's senate seat and the battle gets heated.
