A Wonderful, Magnificent Read!

Hannah Wilde is a terrific author.

I've waited a long time to read an intelligently written creature erotica story that is equal parts raunchy and original. In all honesty, I've never read a sex story set in Nevada that wasn't set in Las Vegas, Reno, or Lake Tahoe. This was a nice change!

The mutants were an excellent choice, because though they are monstrous in outward appearance, they're compassionate creaturesâmore so than most humans. And they make attentive, satisfying lovers for the protagonist, Olivia. No grisly "Wrong Turn" moments here. It's all consensual and sensual.

I'm full of curiosity about the mutants: Who were they? How do they live in such a harsh environment? What is their backstory in regards to the atomic testing that took place here in 1953?

I would dearly love to see this story become a trilogy. It doesn't need to be more than that. Just enough to flesh out a promising premise peppered with additional well-written sex encounters. I like these characters. I like this story arc. I'd love to see how Joey and Rosie react to the mutants.

Seeing more would be very satisfying indeed.

Hot and steamy - pregnancy erotica done right

First, Sierra Kline was an excellent reader; she has a sexy voice to start with and she used just the right emphasis and tones to enhance the hotness of what she was reading.

The story was short and to the point - pregnant girl seeks sex, pregnant girl gets sex. Also, unlike a lot of so-called 'pregnancy erotica', this book puts a lot of focus on the main character's pregnant form - how she looks, how she feels (in every sense of feels), how her lovers interact with her belly and breasts, how THEY feel about her form. The description also strikes the right balance between describing what people are feeling/experiencing and what they are doing physically, avoiding the common pitfall of dull play-by-play porno moves.

The language is another big win for this one; it uses all the right adjectives to describe the female lead's belly, and casts her hugeness in a positive, sexy light. Also, it spices things up with judicious use of phrases like "he exploded into her" instead of just "he came".

I cannot say enough good things about this book. I recommend this not only to preggophiles, but also to anyone not actually turned off by descriptions of pregnant sex - the sex scenes are THAT good. I wish the author would write more preggo erotica.

I don't see men being referred to in such derogatory terms. I think it is especially egregious for female writers to betray their own gender by this kind of sl*t shaming. Furthermore, having a male force his way into a woman's mouth or push her head down during oral sex is disgusting, not sexy in my opinion. Sex can be very erotic in an egalitarian bed. Other authors can write sexy erotica without resorting to the archaic double standards in order to pimp their books.
