In today’s solo episode, Axel describes his new full on construction project and walks you step by step through the whole development process from scratch up to date. 

 

Learning from the experience of others can help you identify potential pitfalls and can provide you with strategies and knowledge you might not otherwise have. 

 

Axel’s goal is to house families so they can create memories. He wants to develop a couple of one hundred units and build an entire neighborhood. But in order to go big, he thinks he should first go small. It is the key to gain experience and understand how the development process works.

 

He dives deep into how he got hold of this project and the favorable agreements he reached with the seller, the importance of having a project already approved and what core documentation and evaluation is needed to be able to get started on a new project. Additionally Axel talks about the soft cost opposed to the construction cost, why it is crucial to build a team of professionals and who are the ones you need fit for your project.
