the book start off with I can mystery everything happening at once and it maintains that through the entire story the book just comes across as too short I'm ready to hear more

voice too soothing!

The voice of the narrator was too smooth it made me nod off too many times and I kept losing the thread of the story.

Thought the plot was a bit far fetched in places and passe.

Very Veraesque - best George & Molly so far!

Brilliant. This one rivals a Vera for plot, place and people. By far the best George and Molly. impeccably read (as ever) by Sean Barrett

What can I say - A great series continues

What can I say without giving the game away. I love this series, if you've enjoyed previous episodes this certainly won't disappoint.

A great read

An excellent story that kept me captivated right to the end. The relationships between the characters really came to life. The narrator has a very BBC voice, quite old-fashioned but perfect for the parts.

Another Man s Poison

Well paced story although I felt it was brought to a rather abrupt end. I do enjoy Ann Cleeves books and this was no exception.

Wow! More!

The time zipped by with this audiobook. Excellent writing and excellent narration. Unique twists and no way one knows what's going to happen next. My only gripe is that I didn't want it to end, although I did really like the ending. I will definitely check out his other books.

Suspense, Intrigue & Thrills - Excellent Book!

What did you love best about The Union Club?

I loved the whole story from beginning to end. I am amazed at how Don Winston is able to write a book with so many layers and maintain a steady feed of intrigue and suspense throughout. The story is so well written that if makes you believe it to be true ... which would be a scary reality.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how well the story was written. The characters are so well written and developed that you are able to develop a relationship with them. Don Winston is a master of his trade and is able to weave a story like none other that I have read. His writing manages to get a grip on you from the very beginning and does not let go until the end and even then you are left wanting more. Very few authors are able to do that for me. Also, the narration done by Andi Arndt was perfection. Her inflection and tone is pleasant to the ear.

Action, action and more action!

Interesting, intense and entertaining story.

Suspense, action, mystery, snipers, prison break, conspiracy, lies, revenge, multiple rescues and more action. These are just some of things that make this a really good story.

Took me a bit to get into the story, but once it got going it was pretty intense. Literally non stop action. The story is constantly moving forward at a fast pace. Getting into Crimea is a whole lot easier than getting out. Things never go exactly as planned. Especially when you don't have all the facts. With things going down hill fast Raider and company finally catch a couple of breaks thanks to a split decision by Raider to free a another prisoner being held in the same prison as their friend.

Story does have flashbacks to past events, which if your not paying attention to the dates can be confusing.

The story takes place during the same time period Putin is putting his plans into action to regain the region of Crimea in the Ukraine. So there are dual story's going on at the same time and how they interconnect with each other.

This is the first time I have "read/listened" an Eric Meyer book. I really enjoyed this one. I'm sure I'll be reading more of his books in the future.

Neal Arango did a pretty good job with the narration. This is the first time I have listened to book narrated by him. Different character voices, easy to follow who's speaking. Pleasant voice. Nice pace. All around good job.

Great story but irritating false accent.

Brilliant Story but false Italian accent is very irritating. Either use authentic accent or probably better to use straight English and get the mood and emotion of the voice right for the plot.

Another fabulous story

Camilleri is a wonderful story teller. The story holds you in its grip but without stress or tension. The reference to delicious Italian food and scenery is a delight to be enjoyed alongside The 'Who dun it'.

Dubin, an unscrupulous detective-turned-blackmailer, finds himself outside the Palmer Institute in northern New York. Hes investigating the apparent suicide of Maria Morgan, a local opera singer and the wife of a wealthy landowner, some seven years ago. His motive isnt necessarily to find the truth.

Ned Hoffman, a psychiatrist who is new to the institute, is charged with the care of Hunter and Antonia Morgan, twin siblings and progeny of Maria and Avery Morgan. Hes concerned that the treatment they are receiving may not be in their best interest.

Each begins to question the same series of events from seven years before, trying to determine what really happened to Maria, and why Hunter and Antonia are in the institute. They soon learn that theres more to Marias suicide and her childrens descent into madness than meets the eye.

In The Rules of Dreaming, Hartman uses a diverse cast of characters to tell a chilling tale of power, corruption, greed, and consequences. Each character is so well defined that it is often difficult to tell whose narrative is the most important to the story. Hartmans seamless blend of first and third person narration keeps the mystery at the fore, while always leaving more questions than answers. Neal Arangos narration of the story is wonderful. Each character has a unique voice which makes the task of keeping track of a dozen or more characters a bit easier.

What a Ride!

You don't what's what or who's who in this listen! Could Dubin be someone other than who he says he is? Is Nicole really crazy?? Whose daughter is Olympia, anyway? Was Maria murdered or was it suicide? Are Hofmann and Bratolli crazy or brilliant and about to cure Hunter and Antonia? Are Hunter and Antonia as crazy as they appear?

Maria commits suicide while rehearsing to perform the opera of the Tales of Hofmann. This sets the stage for a real life drama acting out the opera seven years later. The setting is a mental hospital where her two children have been placed after her death.
