In this video we face the fact that to learn Arabic, you need to not forget things... Then we do a walk through of a famous few lines of poetry by Imam Ashafi'i and learn around 20 new Arabic words!
Here's the poem:
شَكَوْتُ إِلَى وَكِيعٍ سُوءَ حِفْظِي
فَأَرْشَدَنِي إِلَى تَرَكِ المَعَاصِي
وَأَخْبَرَنِي بِأَنَّ العِلْمَ نُورٌ
وَنُورُ اللهِ لا يُهْدَى لِعَاصِي
