Why? There are so many tragedies happening all around us. And many people spend more hours connecting with their smartphones than they do with other people … they’re actually lonely.

We’ve wrongly believed that people are afraid of spiritual encounters. But people are hungry to hear good news, connect with other people and receive God’s love and kindness.

In this Spirit Connection episode, my special guest is my friend Steve Sjogren. He’s been one of my mentors, an amazing church planter and he’s traveled the world sharing the message of showing God’s love in a practical way. He and his wife Janie pioneered the modern “kindness movement” more than 30 years ago when they planted a Vineyard Church in Cincinnati. Steve authored the book Conspiracy of Kindness.
