adrienne and Autumn are back with a brand new season, and this year we are looking at L.O.V.E. Love! What is it? Why does it happen? Why does it hurt so bad? Why does it feel so good? And how might it help us survive as a species? All these questions and more get introduced, and some of them start to get answers.

We made our first Ask Us Anything episode! What you'll hear here is an excerpt from that convo.
These AUA episodes are available exclusively to our patrons, and it’s our patrons from whom we field questions for these special episodes. So, if you are already a patron, thank you for your support. If you’re not a patron but want to get in on these AUAs, you should totally consider becoming a supporter TODAY.
Just go to patreon.com/endoftheworldshow and choose your tier. Any tier you choose will give you access to the AUAs. But we also have a cacophony of merch including original art work by adrienne, how to survive mugs, tote bags and t-shirts. If you can support us financially, thank you! If not, that’s ok too! We will be publishing a new season of shows this spring for everyone.
But in the meantime, if you want to hear us answer your questions directly and get some HTS merch, consider supporting us on Patreon.
Thank you!
We're so excited to share an episode from a new podcast we think you'll love called Freedom Dreams. It's a show that explores historical examples of experiments in liberation, and dreams about how to expand the work already being done to build the abolitionist world we want to see beyond police and incarceration.
SUBSCRIBE TO FREEDOM DREAMS WHEREVER YOU LISTEN TO PODCASTS.
In this episode, the Freedom Dreamers head over to The James and Grace Lee Boggs School in Detroit to learn about place-based education and its relationship to community action. Many think of school as a place where you get to know yourself…but what if it was also how you got to know your community? Ethan Lowenstein teaches us the basics of place-based education and how it knocks down the wall between school and community to better prepare students to live empowered, active lives. Then Julia Putnam, Amanda Rosman, and Marisol Teachworth (administrators at the Boggs School) tell us how language arts, science, and social studies classes can bring students into their communities to practice problem solving and engaging with the people around them. Our guests teach us about visionary organizing and how it focuses not just on what systems we’re tearing down but also what we’re building up. Listen in for these alternative models of academic success!
In this special bonus episode, we bring you audio from a virtual event hosted by Moon Palace Books in Minneapolis, an evening of conversation between Merissa Nathan Gerson, author of Forget Prayers, Bring Cake: A Single Woman's Guide to Grieving, and our own Autumn Brown who had the honor of writing the book's foreword. The event was moderated by Andrea Tritschler.

The Brown sisters realized halfway thru this series that they had to be interviewed, and the interviewer had to be Dani McClain (journalist, author, mother, caretaker and chosen sibling). The sisters remember things differently and tenderly, in perhaps their most vulnerable public conversation to date. This is part 2 of that conversation.
