In their conversation they explore a wide range of topics including, living in New York as an outlier and creative, presence and personas, spontaneity, and the cost of burying emotions. They also discuss her agoraphobia, how working with pottery became the first release and expression of the pain she’d experienced, a subway ride which led to a pivotal transformation, and artistry that came out of a need for self-expression and healing.

She is an AASECT certified sex therapist, hypnotherapist, and certified EMDR practitioner with more than 20 years of experience. Edy earned degrees from New York University and Fordham University, with post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy. She practices in New York City.

After studying Economics at Georgetown University, she spent 10 years working at the corporate offices of some of the world’s biggest retail brands: The Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Carters, Inc.  While there, she grew several businesses with her knowledge of merchandising, apparel production, pricing strategy and international development.  

She started Wider Style to help other women make the same transformation she did and to help them finally see themselves. She uses her diverse background to work with professional women throughout the world and help them understand that being seen as a well put together and attractive woman doesn’t detract from their intelligence or professional accomplishments, but in fact enhances them.

In Corban’s second interview with Greg German, they dive into the world of the subconscious, and how hypnotherapy can be used to release trauma and find healing from the hard things in our past.  Greg has pioneered a unique methodology called Lifecraft Hypnotherapy, which incorporates a more holistic view of the self, and allows his clients to go deeper and work more efficiently.  In addition to hypnotherapy, it incorporates elements of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory.
