After four years of crop losses and market instability, B.C.’s tree fruit farmers are facing significant challenges—even before the added threat of new U.S. tariffs.

In response, the province is providing $10 million in funding, allocated based on acreage, to help farmers recover from labour shortages, production losses, and increased competition.
