Lots of fishermen feel the season changing and hope for a good walleye bite this year. Bob, Jamie and Larry say the water is in the mid fifties and the fish are biting. Larry says PURPLE lures are best right now. Bob says the cash register still works for anything you want to buy.
We also talk with Joshua Bauer, Federal Wildlife Officer. He patrols our region of the Upper Mississippi. News about how to hunt the refuge and the change in the Federal Duck Stamp.
Next week, Tanner Spidel will tell us how he gets big brown trout and the joys of fishing alone and with Meredith.

A disruptive year on the Mississippi as flooding dominated the spring and summer. However, the water is down. Dry weather is the norm and fishing has picked up GREATLY.

A flood week on the Mississippi as heavy rain fell in the upper Midwest. Still..there is some decent fishing in the marinas and backwaters. Larry and Ava fill us in on all aspects of Murray Outdoors on the south end of Guttenberg under the Big Walleye.
