Today we have a special edition of The Chad & Cheese Podcast for you today. Cue the ABBA music, which can only mean one thing, a Swedish twist as Sara Dalsfelt, Head of Brand and Community, over at Adway invited Joel and me to come on her show to talk about Building a TA Power House through Tech, Automation, & Revenue Growth. With over 1,800 registrants, much like every show, Joel and I knew that we had to bring the heat.
So, we did... Enjoy!

As we move through the third anniversary of the first lockdowns, it is a good time to reflect on how the pandemic has changed our attitudes and expectations towards work.
Employers now have to think very differently about culture, employee experience, and recruiting. The new generation joining the workforce is also driving some very different thinking around career progression.
My guest this week is Abby Hamilton, Chief People Officer at LiveIntent. Abby has valuable insights about the importance of creating a human-centric approach to work where employees feel seen, heard, and recognized.
In the interview, we discuss:

The changes he’s seen and the changes he’s seeing now.
Over 7 million men in America have opted out of the workforce. That’s a big problem for a lot of employers, but it’s an 800 lb. gorilla kind of problem for manufacturing businesses. So what the hell is going on? Thankfully, we invited Patrick O'Rahilly (pronounced like “O’Reilly”), founder at FactoryFix, a company dedicated to curing what ails such businesses. The boys didn’t quite solve this complex problem, but they sure had a lot of fun trying. Almost as much fun as you’ll have listening.
In this episode, Jackye and Katee talk to Andres SIgcha. Andres, a native Ecuadorian, earned his Master's degree in 2018 after a journey that took him around the world and exposed him to many cultures and diverse backgrounds. Through these experiences, he found his calling- to fight for workplace equity and give a voice to the underrepresented. He has created :https://www.tariy.ai/ which helps leaders become more inclusive in meetings and beyond.

In 2013, I wrote a report on the future of asynchronous video interviewing; while a few employers were experimenting with it, there was widespread skepticism about its usefulness and longevity. Fast forward ten years, and we are literally living in a different world. Post-pandemic video now sits at the centre of the working day for many of us, and asynchronous video interviewing is most certainly here to stay.
So how are candidate attitudes towards video evolving, what problems is video interviewing solving for employers, and how will things develop in the future?
My guests this week are the perfect people to answer these questions and give us a deep dive into the market. Phill Strazulla is the Founder of Select Software Reviews, and Euan Cameron is the CEO at Willo. Keep listening for a mix of practical advice and informed insights about the future of video interviewing.

Viva HR CEO Ryan Naylor talks about how companies can nurture their culture and why transparency is an employer's friend.
This week in HR tech: Lattice launches a people strategy group; Crosschq adds support for French, German, Italian and other languages.
We are total suckers for the ‘80s. That’s why we love Wilco’s website so much. If you haven’t checked it out, do yourself a favor if you love Pac-Man, Galaga, and Donkey Kong … basically, all-things 8-bit. Anyway, back to business, On Freund and Wilco has created a sort of knowledge base for developers within a company to not only learn new skills but also get the occasional refresher for the more seasoned professional. Is it the next big thing, or destined to the dustbin of history, along with Custer’s Revenge?
Gotta listen to find out.
