In this episode, Katee and Jackye chat with Amy Spurling. Amy is the Founder and CEO of Compt, HR software that enables companies to offer truly personalized employee perks that adapt to remote and hybrid employee needs, while being fully tax compliant and inclusive for global teams. Amy's experience as CFO and COO managing HR and Finance at early and growth stage companies prior to Compt drives her belief that companies and employees can achieve so much more together when employees are fully supported. Named Boston’s “CFO of the Year” by the Boston Business Journal in 2016, she is a seasoned executive with nearly 20 years experience in leadership roles at venture-backed companies ranging from early start-up phase through high growth and ultimately exit. Over her career, she has closed over ten rounds of financing totaling more than $200M, and managed two acquisitions to close.
Amy received her Master of Business Administration from the Simmons School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester.

Corey’s leadership at employ Inc. (Owner of Jobvite, JazzHR, Lever etc..) makes us all envious; their executive and hiring manager’s commitment to the recruitment process sets the pace for all TA Leaders to follow.
For the love great research and reports, we go direct to the source with Jobvite | employ’s Q4 report and dig into the findings.
Jobvite | Employ Inc. report highlights:
Share, share, share! Everyone's sharing everything on social media. Employers and recruiters who are sharing, however, aren't really doing it right most of the time. That's why Cliquify was founded. Think of them as "Canva for Recruiting." Amit Parmar, CEO at Cliquify joins the boys to pitch his company, and its concept, on Firing Squad. Are employers ready to embrace The Share? Does he make it out alive? Gotta listen to find out.
The debate around the office versus remote versus hybrid looks set to run and run as employers continue to experiment with different strategies. Despite the enormous advantages of remote working, there are many challenges and gaps with some current approaches that need addressing as we move forward.
So what are the key issues, how do employers address them, and what role should HR technology play?
My guest this week is Saad Siddiqui, General Partner at Telstra Ventures, a VC firm with several HR technology investments. Saad has written extensively about the future of work and the advantages of a fluid workforce strategy.

So are they still fit for purpose, how are they evolving, and what can job board statistics tell us about the current talent market?
My guest this week is Dave Jenkins, founder of Wave. Wave publishes Wave TrackR, a regular independent report that uses job board data to track recruiting trends, which means Dave has a wealth of insights to share.
