What a BRILLIANT idea!
Driving can be fun for many people. But to most, it brings a daily routine filled with anxiety, stress, agitation, and outright road rage for many.
Lincoln and Calm have joined forces to make the driving experience a little less white knuckle inducing and a whole lot more zen. Good for them!

There is a real ugliness out there and I can't believe the pandemic hasn't brought more of us together.
It seems that mean and rude behavior is just as prevalent as it has been. Sad to see and witness.
This episode recounts one waitstaff employee's experience with customers in the age of Coronavirus. And suggestions on how to be nicer and more patient.

Does the very word "change" instil fear in you? Insecurity? Anxiety?
Or does it instil motivation? Excitement? Adrenaline?
Change is a part of daily life. There is no escaping it.
We can fight it but it usually wins in the end. Trying to stop change is like trying to stop grass from growing.
This podcast episode is about embracing change...and ultimately learning how to become a change junkie!

Many of you will recognize Dustin Pari from the Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International television franchises.
But he is much more than a paranormal investigator.
Dustin tours the country with his motivational and inspirational lectures. He is an author and speaker and fellow purveyor of positivity. In fact, he is one of the most upbeat and positive people I know.
In this podcast episode we discuss staying positive in a media fog of doom and gloom, how to focus on the positives in life, and even that controversial "flashlight" technique from all the ghost hunting shows.
Be sure to follow Dustin on Twitter: @DustinPari and check out his cool website www.dustinpari.com.
Please enjoy and share this with everyone. If you like what you hear, please tell everyone you know about Hughes From The Heart. Consider joining the premium content at Patreon. Thank you so very kindly.

Thanks to Tim Denning for the inspiration for this topic from a blog entry of his on the benefits of waking up early and tackling your passions and the day!
Waking up at 4 a.m. can royally suck...IF you aren't passionate about what you are doing at that early hour.
But waking up early to run, write, compose, sculpt, podcast, etc. can be the best way to achieve your dreams!
Follow Tim on his Twitter: @Tim_Denning and check out his website at www.timdenning.com.
Thanks again, Tim! And thanks, everyone, for listening to Hughes From The Heart, sharing it globally, supporting the premium content at www.patreon.com/spencerhughes, and making a one time contribution if you are so inclined at www.paypal.me/radiospencer. MUCH appreciated! MUCH love to all of you!

Kipp Morrill has been a listener of mine going back more than 20 years on the radio.
Always love his Facebook and social media posts and have grown to like him as a genuine friend over the years.
I offered to do an interview with him on his hobby of Bigfoot research just minutes before this Podcast episode was recorded. Five minutes notice and he sounds really darned good!
Yes, once in a while, Hughes From The Heart will delve into one of my favorite fascinations--the world of the Paranormal.
Regardless of your personal views and beliefs on Bigfoot, I hope you enjoy this episode.

I transitioned from confrontational political talk radio (more than 20 years) to a much more easy going style and a Positivity Podcast called Hughes From The Heart.
My heart and soul just couldn't take the daily arguments and confrontation. It left me agitated and not so nice to be around. It left me longing for true meaning and substance.
It seems to me that I am less a part of the problem these days and much more a part of the solution.
This episode is my explanation of my hopes for the Podcast and its continued growth in the world.
We need more light and love and levity. Don't you agree?
Thanks for listening and sharing and if you are so inclined, for supporting the premium daily content as well. If you really enjoy the content here but are undecided or just not wanting to subscribe to the paid podcasts, here's another little way to help (because people ask me all the time, honestly).
Much love to all of you.

If given the choice between more money and more time, many would instinctively say MONEY, please!!
But the reality is, we can always make more money. But we can't make more time. And really, having more time enables us to make more money.
Then why do we squander it so much? I think because deep down, we don't ever think of running out of time...
The Pomodoro Technique has been around since the late 1980s but is seeing a revival and reboot of sorts as more and more of us strive to maximize our productivity.

Dia started following me on Twitter and I instantly followed back after seeing that our philosophies on life and minimalism and simplicity and mindfulness were very similar.
She is a recent college graduate and biologist living in a Tiny House on a beautiful parcel of land in Massachusetts. She is surrounded by nature and beauty and she is very inspiring, to say the least. Her Twitter is @tinyhousewriter and her blog can be found and followed at www.tinyadventureblog.blogspot.com! Please show her some love and support.
