  • #35 | Super Bowl Watch Party

If you watched Super Bowl LIII, you know it wasn't the best. It definitely didn't have the most exciting halftime show or even the best commercials. Bottom line, the most entertaining part of this years Super Bowl might have been this podcast episode. We filmed it and posted on my YouTube also, hoping for a really good game but instead I ended up explaining what football is to the wife, we talked about how pointless commercials are, the aggressive nature of Adam Levine's tattoos and other ridiculous topics — it was a good time.

Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to see this and every podcast episode, including this one!

  • #34 | Post Gasparilla

If you got a chance to hear the last episode, you know that was before the Gasparilla shenanigans start, this one is immediately following those shenanigans. We came to this podcast more lit than normal, dressed as pirates and ready to talk about anything and everything. We recapped the festival, talked about relationships, divorces, politics and some other pointless topics. Sorry if we offended anyone, as stated early on, this particular episode is Rated-ARRRRGH!

You can now watch all my episodes, including this one on my YouTube Channel!

Be sure to subscribe to the podcast so you can get all the updates and leave a comment if you got some value out of an episode, I'd love to hear your feedback.

  • #33 | Gasparilla Pre-Game

Even when I didn't live in Tampa, I always made my way to the Annual Gasparilla Festival. The history is really interesting and it's a big reason why the Tampa area, including the football team, are so involved with the pirate culture. Fortunately, I now only live about five blocks from the start of the parade so I wanted to invite some friends over to enjoy the festivities with us.

On this episode (1 of 2), I sit down with three great dudes to talk about the history of Gasparilla, our history and then as the drinks started flowing, things took a sharp turn down the conversational road, in a fun way! It was a pleasure having these guys over. Show them some love by checking out their Instagram here: Zach, Shane and Nathyn

Also, don't forget to check out the full video of this and all my other podcast episodes on my YouTube Channel.

Be sure to listen to the second episode of this weekend which was immediately following our Gasparilla activities.

  • #32 | Get More Organized

We're almost into a full month of 2019 and after I had a few speed bumps these last couple weeks, I realized I would've lost some momentum if I wasn't organized with my goals, thankful I was. So I wanted to take some time on this episode to give a little insight on why it's important to be more organized throughout the entire day (week, month, year) and in every aspect of your life, down to cleaning your closet. I believe these are steps in the right direction to accomplishing your goals throughout the year and a great way to stay positive every single day.

As you listen to this episode, I talk a lot about Fit For February, this is the competition I put together for my listeners #fitforfeb. It's going to be a lot of fun and I'm giving out some cool prizes for the winners, click here to join the Facebook group for free. Or check out my original blog post for details.

Start the new year off right by trying STI Fine Foods, a great Italian food company that will beat out almost any chain Italian restaurant you've tried! • #31 | Dealing With Crohn’s

Since I started a podcast, I've gone back and forth whether or not to do an entire episode on Crohn's disease, which I was diagnosed with about 3 years. Then, just the other day I was hospitalized for it (again) so I wanted to share the experience. I felt it wouldn't be honest if I didn't inform my listeners of this since most of my podcast is revolving around living a happier, healthier lifestyle.

On this episode, I talk a little bit on how I got the disease, if there's a treatment for it, how it happened and more importantly, I want to shine some light on the simple fact that anyone COULD be showing early symptoms of this and if not treated, could have issues down the road.

Enjoy the episode and please leave a comment if you got value out this episode, I love to know what you guys think. Visit www.theberardo.com for photos, episodes and more.

  • #30 | The Holidaze

After two long semi-stressful holidays, the wife and I do a quick episode following the events of New Years and talk about how tough it's been getting back in the groove. You could say we're stuck in a Holidaze! In fact, it was so tough, we did this entire episode in bed and yes we posted a video of it too! You can view the full video here.

Should we do more episodes like these in bed? What do you guys think, leave your comments on my YouTube Channel. Maybe we'll call them #bedisodes!?

For all my recording devices and equipment you can check out my KIT site but feel free to leave a comment with questions. On this episode you'll hear me talk about my new gifts to help record audio and video, the GoPro Stand/Selfie Stick and the epic Gear Bag which makes things easy to transport all my podcast and video gear.

Don't forget about Fit For February, it's creeping up and we're doing a fun FREE competition with all my listeners, click here to see the details.

  • #29 | Midnight Countdown

So if you haven't heard episode #28, be sure to listen to that first. That episode was recorded around 8pm and ran for 2 hours with my good friend Nova (@novajaycrossbreed).

But on this episode, our wives decided to crash our podcast episode so of course, we rolled with it. As we're minutes away from watching the ball drop the four of us recap 2018, we talk about our goals for the new year and more importantly we just listen to the wives say weird drunken gibberish for 20 minutes. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Each episode I record audio and video with some easy and inexpensive equipment, you can check it out on my KIT website.

  • #28 | New Years Eve Live

On this episode, I sit down with Nova Jay yet again in this 2 hour long (but worth it) conversation. We talk about his recent move, relationships, favorite streaming shows, our 2019 goals and so much more and since it was recorded a couple hours before the ball drop as the drinks pour, the topics get more and more...interesting. You know this episode was recorded during NYE because of all the fireworks in the background, so sorry about that.

This is the second time he's been in The Berardo Hot Seat so if you haven't heard our last episode a few months ago, you can check it out by clicking here.

Thank you for all the support in 2018 and I look forward to bringing you some great content in 2019. Be safe and Happy New Year!

On the podcast, I mention one of my favorite food services in the world @STIFineFood which is my go-to for Italian Food, that's shipped right to your home! Visit their website and add pasta, sauces, spreads and anything else you want to the cart, use the code 'theberardo' to get a 15% discount!

For each episode I use some pretty inexpensive gear for recording audio and video. To see all the gear I use, check out my KIT website.

  • #27 | Just Another Year

How do you feel when the end of the year comes? If you're disappointed where you're at in this crazy world, don't be discouraged, you're not the only one. In fact, most people who don't accomplish their goals is because of lack of a plan. So this episode I decided to break down a few popular New Years resolutions and talk about the importance of planning for the future (not just another year).

For each episode I use various mics and recording devices which you can view on my KIT website.

Please feel free to leave a review on Apple, Google or another Podcast App you're using so I can continue to improve on my content for you.

    Thanks for listening!

  • #26 | Xmas Backlash 2018

Yep, this is the world we live in now. It's this sort of outrage culture that seems to be getting worse every year, these little disagreements people have with certain places and things, it's getting out of hand don't you think? So, as we close out this year I wanted to give my two cents on a few of these ridiculous "problems" people are having during this magical time of year.

What other crazy things have you heard of this year? Do you agree with these? Leave a comment on my last Instagram post.
