Humming Fools

You heard correctly, fools...the Podcast Gods are BACK! This week, Noah and Kyle are joined by Cullen Bunn, a professional comic book writer, novelist, and short story author. Listen as Cullen recounts how he got into comics, why Batman couldn't have stubble back in the day, and what it's like working in a giant shared universe like Marvel's. Along the way, Kyle accidentally creates a new superhero and Noah subtly reveals he has a drinking problem.

It took sacrifices beyond imagining, but it finally happened people...we got THE Walter Medrano on the show, the unofficial prince of Guatemala AND the official prince of Kyle's heart. Listen as Walter—a photographer with a love for storytelling—recounts his worst creative crisis, provides a behind-the-scenes look at his long-distance photoshoots, and seduces Noah with his formal French. It's a wonderful episode filled with vulnerability, insight, and good old-fashioned bromance. You know, the usual.

After a long hiatus (so sorry) the boys are back on their mics and ready to make fools of themselves again. Today, the topic is editing—specifically, who to turn to when looking for feedback and why. The answer may surprise you, mainly because there's not an answer! Intrigued?! We thought you might be. Give this episode a listen and discover the secret to life; and by "life" we mean editing.

With how terrible 2020 has been, you'd think Satan HIMSELF would be the only one willing to be a guest right now, but NOPE—today fate smiled upon the boys of Humming Fools with a gift from the musical gods. That's right, on this episode Noah and Kyle had the pleasure of chatting with Liam McCormick, the frontman and founder of the orchestral indie rock band, The Family Crest, which happens to be one of Kyle's favorite bands ever. Yep, EVER—so buckle up, Buttercup, 'cause this is one HECK of an interview.
