Message Notes:

Anointing makes the difference. Prophets, priests and kings were anointed. In the Bible objects were anointed. Messiah comes from Hebrew word “anointed” it’s to smear ointment on something. Jesus was anointed. Satan is anti-christ. It’s not numbers, eloquence, looks, technology, emotionalism, contrived manifestations. It can’t break the yoke, heal the sick. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the overflow of the divine life of God through you as a consecrated servant of the Lord.

2 Samuel 5:1-5

Young generation is not a threat, not victims and are not be cursed for mistakes.

1. We are Appointed and Anointed. We have purpose. To know God and make Him known.

2. Impartation without Manifestation. 
Vibrations in your body does not create transformation in your life. It’s renewing of the mind.

3. Active Anointing. For anointing to be active you must not yield to offense and fear. Look for place to serve, not to shine. If you are too big for the towel you are too small for the throne. Laziness makes anointing dormant

4. Acceleration of Anointing. 30 years one tribe for 7 years 6 months. 37 years - all Israel. Even Jesus has that process, God, Church and in future the world.

Moses conquers 2, Joshua 31 kings, 7 years - “there are STILL VERY LARGE AREAS OF LAND TO BE TAKEN OVER.” Joshua 13. Jesus said “greater works you will do”. Don’t compare, complain or compromise. God tends to promise much but entrust with little.

Pastor Vlad shared a message on the power of the Holy Spirit.

Message Notes:

1. Resurrection is an EVENT (1 Cor.15:17). Resurrection is God’s Amen to Christ’s statement “IT IS FINISHED” When He died, so did my sin, when He rose, so did my hope Death defeated sin, resurrection defeated death.

2. Resurrection is an EXAMPLE (1 Cor.15:22-23). Resurrection of Jesus is the guarantee and pattern of our resurrection

3. Resurrection is an EXPERIENCE (Luke 10:23-25). Resurrection is a doctrine but its also a Person

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11

We serve the GOD OF EMPTY TOMB. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of resurrection. There can be no resurrection without death. There is no death without sin.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Sin brings death. Sin destroys us and others. Sin is something we see in others but don’t see in ourselves. Your sin will do to you what it did to Jesus! If God will not punish sin, He will apologize to Sodom.There are two kinds of people in the world: dead to sin or dead in sin. Which are you? Sin is work. Death is paycheck. What in hell do you want that you work so hard for it? We need to quit, resign, give 2 minute notice to devil and leave his payroll.

The Holy Spirit brings gift of forgiveness from Jesus.

Cross is the place where God is loving without being unholy.

The Holy Spirit begins the process of repairing our life from damages of sin. The Holy Spirit starts the resurrection process in our life.

When its dark, you are feel like you are buried, you are only planted. Difference between burial and planting is life & expectancy. Going as seed, dark, dirt, under foot, no way, come out as MUCH fruit. Don’t put period where God has put a comma. Holy Spirit in me is more powerful than circumstances around me.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Whatever in my life that has been in a state of disuse - begin to resurrect, in Jesus’ name. 2. Be it in my health – begin to resurrect. In my business – begin to resurrect. In my family – begin to resurrect. In my finances – begin to resurrect.

3. From today, my old life of sin - pass away, in Jesus’ name. My old life of pain - pass away, in Jesus’ name. My old life of affliction - pass away, in Jesus’ name. My old life of failure - pass away, in Jesus’ name.

Immigrants go to ESL, Christians are in FSL.

And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years. Genesis 6:3

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5

Strive - judge, plead the cause, contend, execute, plead, strife, uphold

Intent - imagination, frame, mind, work, framework, pottery, intellectual framework

1. Dominant thoughts either assist or resist the Spirit.

And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him, John 13:2

Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him John 13:27

Whatever thoughts we are defending will become dominant

2. Dominant thoughts limit our life.

The sicker the mind, the shorter the life.

Traditional thinking limits our relationship with the Holy Spirit

3. Dominant thoughts unlock greatness.

As man thinks so is he Prov.23:7.

We are transformed by renewing of our mind Rom.12:2

Negative thoughts lock God’s promises Numbers 13:33

Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.” 2 Kings 4:9-10

BED - intimacy 2 Cor.13:14

Rest is found in intimacy.

LAMP STAND - leading Prov.20:27; Rom.8:16

Your spirit is the contact point for the Holy Spirit.

Discern the voice of the Lord:

1. Compare to the Bible

2. Cultivate intimacy

3. Check with your mentors / spouse

CHAIR - witnessing Acts 1:8

Don’t get so wrapped up in the church that you forget to be a Christian.

The Holy Spirit is not limited to a podium, He can use the chair.

Jesus had 132 contacts recorded in the New Testament. 6 temple, 4 in synagogue, 122 in mainstream of life.

Effective witnesses:

1. Pray for the impact

2. Live with intention

3. Make room for interruptions

TABLE - miracles Matthew 12:28; Galatians 3:5

Walking in the Holy Spirit and not experiencing supernatural is like getting into water and not getting wet.

Living in the Holy Spirit puts expiration to my limitation.

Supernatural is not always God invading but initiating and adding super to my natural.

Prayer Point:

1. Stagnation, limitation and set back, your time has expired.

2. That mountain that’s standing before me, be leveled in Jesus’ name.

3. The mountain of sickness, failure, setback, sudden death, and disappointment be leveled in Jesus name.

4. Wherever my blessings have been scattered, I gather them in Jesus name. at whether at the east or north I gather them

Rahab vs Achan

Rehab hid spies, Achan hid clothes.

Rehab was saved, Achan was destroyed.

Rehab wanted to be like Israel, Achan wanted to be like Jericho.

We must move from living in secret sin to living in the secret place.

1. What are you hiding?

Psalm 24:3-4

Sin grows in the dark.

Recent victory is not Gods approval on our life.

Private sins lead to public scandals.

What’s under your tent? Deal with it.

2. Who are you hosting?

The Holy Spirit comes by invitation of salvation.

Until Jesus Christ is your savior, the Spirit has no resting place in your heart.

The Holy Spirit is hosted by surrender.

All Christians have the same Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit does not have all the Christians the same.

Four reasons we forsake the Holy Spirit:

- condemnation

- emotional immaturity

- busyness

- laziness

The Holy Spirit is the greatest agent of change.

Don’t use the Holy Spirit to get change, allow the Holy Spirit to use you and bring change.

Moses did not use God to get miracles, he used miracles to get to know God.

Zachariah 4:6

Prayer Point:

Lord Jesus, have mercy on me. According to your lovingkindness, cleanse me from secret sins.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Oh Holy Spirit, give me more of you. Oh Holy Spirit take more of me.

Your Marriage is like a Garden

- Remove weeds

- Plant seeds

- Kill the snake

The real enemy in marriage is a SNAKE, not the SPOUSE.

Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”. 1 Samuel 17:37

1. Remember your lions before you attempt to help someone with their Giants.

Don’t blame your reaction on someones action.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, “Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Matthew 7:3-5

Before you deliver your spouse, get yourself delivered!

Jesus gives a mirror to those without mercy because we can’t be merciful without a mirror John 8:7

2. You can’t kill a Goliath by throwing stones at people.

Affirm the person, attack the problem

Affirm the identity, attack the issue

3. There is only one name but many stones that can defeat Goliath

Woman cried out for demon possessed daughter Matthew 15:22.

Take the weapons that suit you, but it’s the Holy Spirit who will do the miracle.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle but deliverance is of the Lord Proverbs 21:31

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47

Prayer Points:

1. Worship the name of Jesus. Call on the name Jesus. Shout the name JESUS CHRIST.

2. You Goliath in my life, you Goliath in my marriage, you Goliath in my finances be DEFEATED.

3. Anything standing between me and Gods promise in my life be REMOVED in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

4. Begin to rebuke any spirit that followed you here today.

Ephesians 5:22, 25, 33

Mans primary needs: honor and respect, sex, shared activity and support at home

Woman's primary need: security, non sexual affection, honest communication and leadership 

1. Marriage is like triangle! The closer both people get to God they closer they come to each other. 

- Commitment to God must be stronger than commitment to each other.

- Don’t let passive spouse hinder your passion for God

- Don’t nag, push, blame or preach to a passive spouse (1 Pet.3:1-2) 

- Your spouse is like a tree, it will not grow when you pull it. Water it instead and be patient.

- God did not call you to change your spouse but to love them. 

2. Catch the foxes! Before you win in marriage, marriage has to win in your mind.

Song of Solomon 2:15

- Little foxes are thoughts like “I have made a mistake”, “I should of married someone else”, “I am miserable” “I have to leave before it’s too late”. 

- Don’t vocalize demonic thoughts or they will take root in your mind. 

- Burn the bridge to your ex and the past. 

- Remove the word “divorce” from your vocabulary during difficult time in your marriage. 

3. Choose to cheat! Don’t cheat on your marriage with work and hobbies.

- Don’t give to God what belongs to your family

“You love your family in your heart, but you don't love them in your schedule. And they can't see your heart. Nobody gets to the end of his life and wishes he had spent more time at the office.” Andy Stanley 

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit - and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.” Bryan Dyson

“I will never get finished everything I need to get done today. I will always miss something everyday. Never let it be the same thing twice. Touch everything but hold nothing to long. If you have to hold it to have it, you’re not hiring the right people.” TD Jakes 

“A person who stays late at the office is not a hardworking person, instead he is a fool who does not know how to manage work within stipulated time. He is inefficient and incompetent in his work.” Dr Abdul Kalam 

Practical tips: 

- Spend 15 minutes a day in a meaningful conversion. 

- Spend 1 evening a week on a date.

- Go on a 7 day vacation once a year. 

4. Fight like Pro! Marriage is either a street fight with no rules or a fight like a boxer in the ring.

Ephesians 5:26-27

- Don’t go to sleep angry, stay up and fight! 

- Complain instead criticizing. Complaining is how I feel, criticism is attack the other person.

- Avoid bringing the past into the present. 

- Avoid using words “NEVER” and “ALWAYS” or cursing. 

- Raising your voice or hands is not good.

How to fight like a pro?

- Non sexual physical touch 

- Sarcasm is a big no. 

- Validate her feelings, don’t shame her for them. 

- Acknowledge your fault. 

- Promise to do better.
