Laura Jackel is a published freelance writer, co-hosts the popular Oversubscribed podcast and is a casual academic tutor at the University of Newcastle.

She is a regular contributor to lifestyle websites Mamamia and Domain and has had articles published in a range of other respected publications.

Prior to becoming a freelance writer, Laura had a decade-long career in marketing, public relations and communications. She is a passionate reader and has been a board member of the Newcastle Writers Festival since 2016. When Laura’s not writing her days away, she is a busy mum of two boys who likes to indulge in coffee and the occasional glass of champagne.

Mick Bull acts as the Co-Director, alongside his brother Justin, at Air Extreme Air Conditioning and is their lead Project Manager. On the day-to-day, Mick oversees and manages staff allocations for each job, and ensures Air Extreme deliver on quick turnarounds, quality customer service and a happy team culture.

This year Mick and the team are celebrating their 15-year anniversary, which comes after many years of fond memories, challenging yet rewarding client jobs, and many learning curves along the way. Emilia Cardillo is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Cardillo Commercial Lawyers and is one of Newcastle’s first female Accredited Specialists in Business Law.

She founded the law firm to not only create flexibility while raising her two young boys but to also provide start-ups and small businesses with access to practical advice without the unnecessary legal jargon.
