October 14, 2023Season 7 – Eps 77&78
Barry and Fiona are taking Jasper to the park. Fi says Barry was a hit at the wedding
She’s glad her friends like him – but Jasper does too, and that’s far more important
Vicky makes Sam a toastie. Carmella says Mario came round the other day, unhappy
Carmella’s proud of Sam’s success, but her son’s fragile male ego is being battered
Raymond has just ridden his new motorbike for the first time and is buzzing
He thanks Charlotte for letting him follow his dream. You’re doing the same she says
Tommy asks Ryan and Jordan if he can invite Duncan and Bianca over that evening
He needs to tell them all something. They both say yes, although Ryan will be out
Adam visits Moll in her shop. Says he has heard good reports about her yoga class
He wants to know if she would like to do a series of programmes on wellness issues
Tom reveals he was abused in jail. Thanks Bianca for helping him speak out
Duncan’s all for going after those responsible, but Tommy doesn’t want that

October 08, 2023Season 7 – Eps 75&76
The honeymoon has improved after its rocky start. They’ve been up the Eiffel Tower
They’ve also had a lovely river trip on the Seine in a ‘bateau mouche’. Bob’s happy
Bianca is minding the shop for Judy and is about to close up when Tommy bursts in
He’s angry she told Duncan that Tom said something bad happened to him in jail
Sharon is telling Doreen about Moll’s yoga class when Chantelle/Adam arrive
She urges them all to try it – it was brilliant! Chantelle says she’ll give it a go
Duncan tells Sarah he went round to see Tommy to try and find out what’s wrong
He took Sarah’s advice, but it didn’t get him far. Tom clammed up – wouldn’t talk
Mario has coffee with Mum. Tells her/Harry about the tour and the rows with Matt
Then he mentions Sam’s film work. She’s going to meet the famous actress today
Bob returns from honeymoon – had a great time. Asks Dan what he has missed
Dan says he’s entered the elite race in the cycle ride along with Harry. Bob laughs

Sharon and Alyson say it was nice to meet Barry The Physics Teacher at the wedding
Their conclusion: nerdy but sort of hot – and a great mover. Fiona has chosen well
Mario says maybe now they’re at home, they’ll relax and be able to make a baby
Maybe, says Sam. Matt rings – she puts him on speaker. He has exciting news
Duncan visits to welcome Tommy back and talk to him about what Bianca said
She told him Tommy had a bad experience in jail – is that right, son? Offers to help
Bianca and Sharon arrive for Moll’s inaugural Kundalini yoga class. Sharon’s nervous
They meet Alyson, who’s waiting for Fiona and Laura. The class is quite full. Sharon worries about showing herself up – she’s so unfit! Bianca and Alyson reassure her
Laura pops in for a takeaway lunch and tells the ladies she’s doing the cycle ride
Just the novice ride as she’s not that fit. Dan’s doing the elite race – rarely cycles
Alyson has made dinner for Neil. He brought a fancy bottle of wine and is cheerful
Ali says he looks a lot less tired, like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders

September 25, 2023Season 7 – Eps 71&72
Carmella says Mario has returned from tour. It went well, but he’s dissatisfied
She tells them how Matt prioritises Sam and treats Mario like a session musician
Raymond tells Doreen that Charlotte has said he can buy a motorbike. He’s excited
He’s going to get a Honda Fireblade. Doreen says that’s unwise – too powerful/fast
The honeymooners have enjoyed their Eurostar journey, but now Raymond’s upset
The area around the station is seedy. He thought Paris was supposed to be romantic
Sarah’s back from holiday. Tells Neil she had a fab time. What has she missed?
Not much, says Neil. We’ve got a load of drug dealers from the Addington in custody
Jordan has been adding content to the charity’s website. Links to PTSD resources
Not just therapists/treatment centres – also breathing exercises, mindfulness etc.
That was quick, says Neil. Are you done with those interviews already, Sarah?
No, she says – I need you to join me. The drug dealers want to do a deal with us

It’s wedding day! Fi’s at Serenity so Judy’s hair and beauty can be done in one place
Laura’s been doing Judy’s make-up. Puts on eyeliner/mascara and seals her lipstick
Bob and Dan are waiting for the bride. Bob’s nervous. Dan goes to check. She’s here!
Wait until you see her. She looks stunning. Judy appears, and Bob’s overcome
Chantelle and Adam watch the newlyweds do their first dance – the Charleston
They conclude Barry must be a genius, for managing to get Bob to dance like that
The women congratulate Trevor for being a brilliant MC at the wedding reception
Trev asks them what they think of Barry. Seems a bit nerdy for Fiona. Did you see him on the dancefloor, says Alyson. Brilliant, and he’s taught Fiona a few moves…
The newlyweds have spent a low-key wedding night at home – suited them both
The wedding was perfect, but they appreciated a bit of quiet time to recover
Vicky returns from summer school. She had a great time, but now she’s worried

Charlotte calls. Tour’s going great, says Sam, but Matt and Mario are still fighting
Talking of fights, says Charlotte…relates how Raymond asked to buy a motorbike
Carmella says she’s taking Harry out for dinner – to say thank you for help in café
She knows she’s given him a hard time, but her standards are high. He’s done well
Judy is making dinner when the doorbell rings. Bob goes to answer it
Comes back puzzled. It’s a telegram. Didn’t realise they still did them these days
The pair are enjoying themselves. Duncan is no longer grumpy re: Heather suspect
He has even been jet skiing! Sarah teases him, then they talk about their jobs
Charlotte says she has reflected, and she is now OK with Raymond getting a bike
She has been selfish, making everything about her. Understandable, says Raymond
Tom calls Bianca. He has been drinking. Tour’s going well but the atmosphere is bad
He struggling to cope, but he doesn’t want to leave – or be thrown out by Matt

Sam/Keanu have been practising their harmonies – Keanu does some backing vocals
Sam says how nice it is to rehearse just the two of them – no tension or arguments
Charlotte’s making dinner. She thanks Raymond for his work on charity cycle ride
While she’s in a good mood, Raymond broaches the subject of buying a motorbike
The pair discuss Bob and Judy’s wedding. They’re pleased for them – but dreading it
It’ll remind Chantelle of her disastrous wedding to Alastair, who was already married
It’s after hours at the beauty salon, and Bob/Dan are trying on their wedding suits
Laura says they look gorgeous, but hopes Bob is going to Wavelengths for a haircut
The pair are rehearsing their vocals again. Matt arrives and admires their dedication
Matt says the tour is going really well. Reviews are great – springboard to next step
Ryan’s new material is coming along well. He has bought a takeaway to celebrate
Tells Jordan that he has been approached by two other record companies

Sharon comes in to buy her favourite scented candles. Sees Moll’s poster re: yoga
Kundalini yoga – sounds rude, she says. Moll explains it is most spiritual yoga type
Bob’s having a few drinks for his mates. Didn’t want a full-on stag do. Too old!
Trevor is joining in – Doreen is looking after the bar so he can let his hair down
Fiona’s waiting for Chantelle. Dor asks when they’re going to meet the famous Barry
Fiona confesses that he’s Scottish – doesn’t want to remind Chantelle of Alastair
Bianca helps Sharon prepare the material for her comedy show on Radio Huntsford
Discusses various anecdotes re: East End life and Huntsford people. Bianca advises her whether they’re suitable for broadcasting or too risqué. No swearing allowed!
The pair have had dinner and are enjoying a nightcap under the stars. Slightly tipsy
Talk about their jobs. Sarah says hers is frustrating. They know who killed Heather…
Fiona comes in for a massage with Chantelle. Tells Laura she’s stressed from work
During the massage, Fi tells Chantelle about Barry being Scottish – fears hurting her

Mario complains to Sam about Matt having offered to manage Ryan. Disloyal etc.
Sam says Mario is overreacting. It’s nothing against him – or Mabel and the Edge
The crew are tidying up the salon and creating a display for the hair loss products
Sharon how things are going with Barry. Good, Fi says. She has started dance lessons
Harry is helping Carmella clean up the café after a busy afternoon. Carmella’s quiet
Harry asks what the matter is, and Carmella tells him that Vicky called for a chat
The pair are chilling by the pool with a drink. Duncan’s unusually relaxed
While Sarah smothers him in Factor 50, he tells her Bianca’s concerned for Tommy
The three are discussing plans for the cycle ride they’re running for the PTSD charity
They have agreed a date in the autumn. Weather will be cooler – more participants
Judy has asked Fi and Alyson to join her and Bianca after closing time in Circle of Life
She opens some bottles of organic English sparkling wine – pours glasses for them

The pair check that they’re all set for their wedding next month. They’re excited
Victoria Hall is booked, as are the caterers. Outfits, cars and guest list are all sorted
Tommy calls. He’s distraught and drunk. Explains re: Matt’s offer to manage Ryan
Says Matt called him and Mario nonentities. He’s even worse than Tommy thought
Judy comes into the salon. Says she and Bob were just finalising their wedding plans
She can really look forward to it now because – look! Her hair’s growing back!
Bianca comes to see Duncan about Tommy. Tells him about their conversation
She says Tom hinted that something had happened to him in prison which causes him to drink and use when things get tough. She thinks Duncan ought to know
Mario confronts Matt. Tom has told him how Matt offered Ryan a management deal
Matt is unruffled. This is business, he says – and Ryan’s a good business prospect
The couple have decided to tell the police about Darren and Vicky. They’re nervous
They tell Neil what they know – then ask him to keep quiet about their visit to him
