Jordan tells Charlotte about the work she is doing to prepare for the charity launch
The invitations have gone out to the great and the good – acceptances are coming in
Sharon’s colleagues ask her about the coronation. Was it an exciting day?
Sharon’s a bit underwhelmed. She got to see the King but didn’t speak to him
Harry’s having a quiet drink when Mario comes in. Asks if he’s OK; Mario confides
He tells him about the problems with the band and Sam not getting pregnant
Sharon tells Trevor about her stand-up routine for Huntsford’s Got Talent
She plans to focus on her East End roots and Huntsford’s reaction to her arrival
Judy and Bob are discussing their wedding breakfast. Judy wants it to be vegan
Bob puts his foot down. Can have vegan options, but he wants red meat
Raymond’s range of branded hair loss products is in development. Fiona approves
The Wavelengths branded packaging is great and the products smell amazing

June 02, 2023Season 7 – Eps 35&36
Judy brings Bob’s lunch. Dan says the boss is in the back – busy on his laptop
Bob emerges, triumphant. He has found the perfect car for their 1920’s wedding
Mario says the band have been asked to play the interval at Huntsford’s Got Talent
Out of the question, says Matt. You’re not playing at some two-bit rural event!
Adam and Dan come up to the bar to get drinks. Duncan welcomes Adam warmly
Trevor says it must be hard coming to the pub after everything that has happened
Tommy calls in to ask Bianca out for a drink – emphasises that it’s just as friends
He’s still gutted by his split from Kylie. He says he needs a friend; doesn’t have many
Mario comes in for a sandwich. Carmella asks him what’s wrong – mother’s intuition
Her son tells her he’s fine and to get off his case. She isn’t convinced and pushes him
The officers are frustrated by the lack of progress on Heather’s murder case
However, they’re relieved that the press are backing off. People are moving on

Raymond is grumpy because he wasn’t selected to take part in the coronation
His great uncle wasn’t involved but Sharon Tubbs’ grandfather was, so she gets to go
Bianca’s impressed – Moll’s tarot reading was accurate. Tell me more, says Moll
The ‘negative influence’ Moll mentioned is apparently Tommy, Bianca claims
The boys call on Adam, to try and persuade him to join them at the Red Lion
They can’t imagine what he’s going through, but he has to leave the house sometime. I have, protests Adam – I’ve been to check on Radio Huntsford…
Vicky comes in to start her shift. Says a worrying thing happened on her way there
She ran into Pete, her ex-husband, who told her that her son Darren has left Huntsford. He has taken a job as a forklift driver in a Midlands distribution centre
Mario comes home with flowers and apologises to Sam for his recent behaviour
He gets mad because Sam is Matt’s favourite, but he realises Sam doesn’t encourage Matt, so it’s not her fault. He promises to be nicer to her. After all, she might be…

Sam admits she feels mostly relieved, but guilty about feeling relieved. Sometimes she feels sad and worried she can’t have kids. It’s complicated. She hasn’t told Mario
Bianca says Sharon is planning to do stand-up comedy at Huntsford’s Got Talent
She complains to Judy that her mother is constantly ‘showing her up’
Sarah has been investigating Nasty Nick’s whereabouts when Heather disappeared
Tells Neil they can cross Nick off the list of suspects – he was in Dubai on business
Ryan asks Mabel and the Edge to play during the interval of Huntsford’s Got Talent
We’d love to in principle, says Sam, but we’ll have to clear it with Matt first
Sharon is very excited – she has been accepted to take part in the Coronation
Turns out her dodgy Grandad wasn’t telling porkies. He did actually take part in 1953
Chantelle walks into the pub with Fiona. Doreen loves her radical new haircut
Duncan’s shocked – she had such beautiful hair. So feminine. Why cut it all off?

Sam donates the fee from the solo gig to Charlotte’s charity. Charlotte is overcome
Then she confesses she might be pregnant. Charlotte asks if she has done a test
PC Evans has so far been unable to locate Nick, Heather’s ex, to obtain DNA
They have found no matches among those who have been tested – frustrating
Chantelle comes in for her regular hair appointment. Your usual, Fiona asks
No, says Chantelle. Today I intend to wave goodbye to my safe, tasteful bob
The volunteers give Adam a progress report. Advertising revenue has increased
Vicky has recorded trailers for Huntsford’s Got Talent and the station has received dozens of applications from singers, dancers, musicians – the lot!
Sam has turned up with a pregnancy test. Says she doesn’t want to do it alone
No time like the present, says Jordan. Off you go – I’ll be waiting. Don’t worry…
The pub has just closed, and PC Evans and Neil have just finished work

April 30, 2023Season 7 – Eps 27&28
The ladies are about to record their Easter cookery programme. Ryan’s producing
Vicky asks Ryan who’s going to do the intro. Heather always used to do it. Can you?
Sam has requested a Zoom call with Matt. She tells him to book any gigs he likes
Mario doesn’t want her to do any solo gigs, but she doesn’t care – she’s up for it
The friends discuss the voluntary DNA mass screening. They have all been tested
Duncan says Raymond and Doreen have as well. Everyone they know is volunteering
Adam visits Radio Huntsford. Ryan’s doing post-production. Bianca’s on the books
Adam asks Ryan to launch Huntsford’s Got Talent – it’ll be broadcast in the summer
Judy and Bob are having a quiet drink together. Judy’s tired after a busy day
Bob says she hasn’t mentioned their wedding plans recently. Any developments?
Ryan has just finished work at Radio Huntsford. He approaches Mario/Tom
Says they should be friends again. He’s sorry, but he had to leave Mabel and the Edge. Tommy agrees and say that they understand – it was just a shock at the time

Matt’s delighted with the response to Sam’s gig. Getting lots of similar requests
Mario reminds him they’re a band. You can be part of it – or not, says Matt
Neil tells Alyson about the post-mortem. It shows Heather’s death was no accident
The Met are extending his secondment so he can run the murder investigation
Ryan tells Jordan that he’s now happy with his songs and the videos she has made
However, he’s not going to launch them yet. Doesn’t feel right due to Heather…
The group discuss the posters asking men to come forward for DNA testing
Dan heard it broadcast on Radio Huntsford too. He and Duncan plan to volunteer
Bianca has a coffee with Vicky in the college café. She has just had an argument
The students in her business studies class called Adam a ‘creepy old man’
Mario is still grumpy. Mabel and The Edge was his band, and now he’s irrelevant
Ignore Matt, says Sam. You’re still at the heart of the band, whatever he says

Bianca comes in to have her tarot reading done. Jean – please supply tarot detail
The main theme should be that Bianca has lots of talent and potential for success
The lads visit Adam. He tries to put them off but they’re insistent and he relents
They say they know they can do nothing to make it better, but they’re here for him
Fiona brings Jasper into work as Nanny’s sick. He causes havoc in the staff room
Raymond tries to talk to her about hair loss products. He’s found two companies. One is vegan but the other would make a Wavelengths branded range for them
Sam has asked Jordan to meet for a coffee. Carmella brings them chocolate cake
Sam says they haven’t seen much of each other for so long, and she misses Jordan’s friendship – and her advice. Jordan has seen the videos of the solo gig Sam did
Raymond apologises for being insensitive about Heather investigation
Charlotte forgives him – she knows he’s devastated by Heather’s death, like her

Carmella comes in for a hot stone massage. She needs to destress from the café
The three women say how awful it is that Heather is still missing. Then Carmella asks Chantelle what’s happening with Alastair. He’s going to be tried in Scotland, she says
Bianca finds a letter acknowledging Sharon’s application for a role in the coronation
Asks Sharon, who explains that her grandfather said he took part in the 1953 event
Neil thanks Adam for identifying Heather’s body. Adam declines help and leaves
Neil instructs Sarah to tell Duncan the sad news, to ‘stop the rumour mill’ at the pub
Duncan and Trevor tell the ladies that Heather’s body has been found and identified
They speculate gloomily on how Adam must be feeling and about the cause of death
Sam comes home after celebrity gig. It went well, but she plays it down for Mario
He’s still grumpy. Says he doesn’t want her doing any more solo appearances
Charlotte receives a letter saying the date of her court case has been postponed. No replacement date is given. She’s disappointed – she wanted to get it over with
Raymond’s disappointed too. The focus on Heather would deflect press attention

March 26, 2023Season 7 – Eps 19&20
Chantelle has arranged to meet Charlotte and Jordan for a coffee. Vicky serves them
Chantelle has heard about the PTSD charity they’re setting up. She wants to help. She pushes an envelope across the table. Charlotte opens it. Inside is a cheque
The couple are at loggerheads. Sam wants them to do the private gig, Mario doesn’t
He asks why she wants to sing for an unidentified celebrity. For the money, she says
Sharon is cooking burgers for tea. Bianca lectures her – the rainforests are being torn up to feed beef cattle – and that’s before you even get to the slaughtering…
Don’t put me off my dinner, says mum. That’s Judy talking. You used to love a burger
Sam calls Matt and tells him she’ll do the gig for the celebrity – but Mario won’t
He still refuses to be an accompanist. It’s caused a few arguments, Sam confides
The couple have put the kids to bed and are having a drink together
Laura was so happy and relieved to be free of Alastair, but now she’s frightened
It’s mid-evening. The police officers knock on the door. Adam knows it’s bad news
They regret to inform him that a body has been discovered in the river
