Sam goes into the café and asks for Carmella. She won’t want to see you says Vicky
Sam insists and Vicky brings Carmella out from the back. Sam asks about Mario
Trevor is finishing a new episode of his blog: ‘Smalltown Boy’. Ryan is producing
Charlotte is the guest – she had to pull out of the previous episode due to her cold
Ryan comes home from Radio Huntsford after producing the ‘Smalltown Boy’ blog
He’s tired. He tells Jordan he’s struggling to write songs as he’s feeling washed out
Matt arrives for lunch. Charlotte and Raymond are shocked by his bruising
It’s nothing, he says. He’s not going to play into Mario’s hands by making a fuss
Bob tells Judy about Vicky’s Xmas dinner for the homeless in the Community Kitchen
Ryan calls round to see Mario when he knows Carmella and Harry will be at work
He’s heard about the fight with Matt. He knows Mario’s having a hard time of it

March 02, 2025S8 – Eps 95&96
Matt has come to Huntsford to welcome Tommy to his first rehearsal after rehab
Sam’s with her vocal coach – she’ll join them shortly. He says well done to Tommy
Trevor is serving drinks to Adam and Chantelle. He says he’s glad they’re together
Sharon’s at the bar. She’s tipsy. She says she’s happy for them, but has a question
Matt, Tommy and Sam are waiting for their drinks when Mario bursts into the room
He punches Matt hard in the face, saying that’s for stealing his wife. Matt retaliates
Mario comes down to breakfast. Carmella’s shocked. Who gave him the black eye?
Matt, says Mario – but he came off worse. He was out cold on the floor when I left
Dan saw the message on Vicky’s website. He wants to help at the Christmas dinner
His community service has made him think – he wants to help those less fortunate
Duncan tells Sarah that he wants to cook Boxing Day lunch for the whole family
He plans to invite Jordan, Ryan, Luna, Alyson, Neil, Tommy – and maybe Ari

Duncan and Trevor congratulate Adam on getting together with Chantelle
Adam’s worried that people will think it’s too soon after Heather was killed
Mario orders another drink. Duncan tells him to make it his last; he’s had enough
Mario grumbles drunkenly at Duncan. Tommy comes in and orders an AF beer
Jasper has ‘gone down’ easily and the women are making dinner together peacefully
Fiona admits Jade was right. Jasper’s much happier now Barry is back in his life
Charlotte and Jordan are having a work meeting when Tommy calls round
He’s glad Charlotte’s there – he wants to talk to them both about a charity donation
Bianca comes in to pick up a takeaway for her and Sharon. Vicky asks her opinion
She wants to hold a free Christmas dinner for the poor and homeless of Huntsford
Sarah briefs Neil on the plans to gather evidence at the criminal gang’s meeting
One of their young PCs has secured a job as a waitress at the restaurant

Chantelle’s back from her Caribbean cruise; she tells fer friends it was wonderful
She waxes lyrical about the ship, the sun, the food and the Caribbean islands
Tommy’s back from rehab. Ari makes him a tea and asked him how it was for him
At first, he’s evangelical – they’ve given him the tools he needs to live a sober life
Raymond makes Sam coffee and comments on the success of the band’s single
He reckons Matt regrets not releasing it later – could have been the Christmas No. 1
Charlotte’s grumpy. She’s just done an online interview about her charity work
All the journalist wanted to know about was Sam and her role as Sam’s mother
The couple are playing with little Luna, who can now sit up. They’re so proud of her
They discuss the fact that it’ll be her first Christmas. How should they celebrate it?
The two officers discuss the upcoming meeting of the criminal gang in a restaurant
Their informant has been helpful, but they don’t have enough hard evidence yet

Sam videos her parents as they return from a cycle ride. It’s pouring – they’re soaked
Charlotte gets off her bike and explains (to camera) she’s training for her charity ride
Carmella has cooked dinner. She and Harry are at the table but no sign of Mario
He bursts in as they’re eating – he’s obviously been in the pub as he’s a bit tipsy
Matt has convened a meeting in London as the response to the single is insane
He has arranged some interviews for later that day and made plans for more#
Barry tells Moll that Fiona has relented – he can continue seeing Jasper after all
Good, says Moll. It was ridiculous to stop you because of my sandalwood incense
Luna is wriggling on her play mat and her besotted parents are playing with her
As they play, they talk about the band’s hit single – great for them and for Ryan
The pair have been to the evening entertainment – a brilliant, abridged musical
They have come back to Adam’s cabin to enjoy a quiet drink on his balcony

Bianca has returned from saying goodbye to Tommy who is off to rehab
She complains to Sharon that Tommy doesn’t want to go and doesn’t need to
The two flatmates say goodbye as Tommy heads off to rehab. Ari’s sympathetic
She knows rehab’s tough – it’s not like on the TV, where it’s like a fancy health farm
Sam and Jordan come into the café. Luna is in the buggy. Vicky serves them coffee
She’s cooing over Luna when Carmella comes in, spots Sam goes ape re: Matt
Fiona tells Jade that she has stopped Barry from seeing Jasper again. Jade asks why
Fi tells her that Barry took Jasper out and the boy came home smelling of incense
The new single has been released and Ryan is interviewing the band on the radio
He’s grateful for their time – they’ve done so many interviews already. Must be tired
The officers are receiving a flow of information from their informant re: the gang
Armed robberies are the tip of the iceberg. They’re also heavily into drug trafficking

The band are listening back to the ballad and Matt is requesting some final tweaks
Sam’s vocals are perfect; he tones Keanu’s guitar down a bit and K’s slightly grumpy
Duncan and Jordan have insisted Tommy join them for a serious talk. He’s grumpy
He’s supposed to be in the studio – but they say Matt agreed he needs to be here
The pair have joined their ship. They love it! The pool and the gym are amazing
Their luxury cabins are next door to each other, and each has a little balcony
The pair have interviewed their suspect extensively on tape and released him on bail
Off tape, he has agreed to become an informant in return for a reduced sentence
Harry’s out, so Carmella takes the opportunity to have a chat with her son
Mario’s eventually reveals he’s no longer in Poseidon. Their guitarist has returned
Sam’s staying over at Matt’s for the first time. He uncorks a bottle of champagne
She thinks he’ll toast them, but instead he toasts the ballad – their first big hit

Doreen has taken time out from the TV show to guest on Trev’s Smalltown Boy blog
The recording has gone well and they’re just wrapping up the final comments
Harry’s out at the pub, so Carmella takes the opportunity to have a chat with her son
She asks him how the flat hunting’s going but he’s evasive – not much on the market
The three discuss the Council’s hybrid solution to pedestrianising the High Street
Part of the high street will be pedestrianised, whist the other part will be left as it is
Mario visits Sam to confront her over Matt. He heard about them from Tommy
Sam tells him not to believe everything Tom says while drunk – then admits it
Barry comes round to see Jasper. Fiona’s stressed because Jasper’s playing up
He tells her not to let Jasper dictate her moods. Meditation would help ‘ground’ her
Mario is out and Carmella and Harry have been taking full advantage of it – in bed
Carmella brings Harry a cup of tea. He says what a rare treat this is – time together

December 16, 2024Season 8 – Eps 81&82
Jordan has brought Luna to see her Grandad. They discuss Tommy’s recent relapse
Agree he was lucky not to have been chucked out of the band. He needs their help
The pair are about to fly off to join their Caribbean cruise ship. Chantelle’s excited
They have access to a fancy lounge as part of their package. Adam pours champagne
It’s the end of a long shift. Vicky’s unloading the dishwasher and drops a serving dish
It smashes on the tiles and Carmella rushes in to find Vicky cursing and crying
The officer tells Neil/Sarah that she arrested a drunk driver on Huntsford bypass
She checked his vehicle and found a crowbar, a balaclava and a knife in the boot
Doreen serves the three members of the anti-pedestrianisation group with drinks
They’ve come in for Dutch courage as they have a meeting with the Council shortly
The band are recording the ballad Ryan wrote. Sam’s laying down her lovely vocals
Tommy complains. There are hardly any drums – they’re supposed to be a rock band

Ari visits Bianca to warn her that Tommy’s in danger of relapsing with alcohol
She doesn’t think he’ll take drugs, but he’s been saying he could have ‘just one beer’
Barry has visited Jasper. He and Fi agree it’s awkward, but worth it for Jasper’s sake
He has given Jasper his bath, read him a story and put him to bed. J was very good

Tommy lurches into rehearsal, late and very drunk. He trips over Keanu’s new guitar
He sends the guitar flying and Matt’s concern is for the guitar, not Tom. Ari yells at Matt. Tommy’s more important than a guitar! He needs help – she’s getting Duncan
