Laura arrives to collect Dan and take him for a drink. Dan protests, but she insists
He can’t hide away forever. No should he, says Bob. Dan’s doing some great work
Trevor has produced a proposal for his new radio blog. It’s called ‘Small Town Boy’
Fiona and Jade are celebrating because Jasper was delighted to see Jade earlier
When she arrived, he opened his arms and cried: “Auntie Jade!” Jade’s relieved
Sam is early for rehearsal. Keanu is already there, picking out tunes on a new guitar
He tells her Matt hired it for him. It used to belong to the late, great Jeff Beck
The colleagues are drinking coffee. Neil seems down; Sarah asks him what’s up
Neil says he loves Alyson and is super-happy with her, which is part of the problem
Chantelle is making dinner for Adam. He tells her about Trevor’s blog rehearsal
He’s a natural; if he can maintain the quality, the blog’s going to be a huge hit

Matt tells Sam and Keanu that he plans to buy some of Ryan’s songs for the band
There are three songs, and he reckons the ballad could be their next hit
Charlotte has put on her new make-up and clothes. Raymond loves her new look
She says Sam advised her on the clothes. They’re stylish, but so practical and comfy

Bianca complains about the mess Sharon makes. Can her mother clear up for once?

Charlotte has come in for a restyle. She wants a new look now she’s no longer an MP
Alyson suggests going short. It suits ‘women of a certain age’ and is easy to care for
Sarah asks Duncan how he’s enjoying being a Grandad. He’s unsure about the name
Luna. He’s worried about her being called ‘Loony’. Sarah explains its classical origins
Bob and Doreen have finished filming. Their food has been delivered from Vicky’s
Dan joins them and Doreen tells him how much more confident Bob is on camera
Ryan and Adam tell Trevor they need help with the radio station. Can he oblige?
They want him to take on some of Ryan’s drivetime slots plus management tasks
Barry comes to visit Fiona and asks if he can still be part of Jasper’s life. Misses him
He fesses up re: Moll. Fi says he didn’t waste any time, then tells him about Jade

Chantelle calls Sharon. Bianca came to have her nails done – left her phone behind
She offers to drop it round, but Sharon says B will collect it from Chantelle’s house
The band members are waiting impatiently for Sam so they can start the rehearsal
They speculate whether she’s with Matt and discuss whether to confront her
Barry and Moll are loved up. They’re having a quiet night in – scented candles etc.
Moll describes her use of different crystals to create positive energy in each room
Dan comes in for a coffee after his Community Payback work on the bypass
He confides in Carmella – the kids are getting teased at school. Not fair on them
Adam visits Ryan and Jordan in their new house. He plays with Luna and admires her
He says Ryan’s busy with baby, songwriting etc. and he’s off on a cruise next month
Jade pays a surprise visit. She’s not ready to play happy families full-time, however…
She doesn’t want to lose Fiona – not this time round. How about a compromise?

Barry tells Moll she was right to doubt Fiona. She has been seeing Jade, her ex
Says he has walked out. Fi bombarded him with calls/messages, so he blocked her
Chantelle is making dinner for Adam. They discuss Dan’s Community Payback Order
Chantelle says she feels for him – having to run the gauntlet of the Huntsford gossips
The salon has just closed. Judy calls in to see if the ladies fancy going to the pub
They find Fiona in tears. Barry has walked out and has blocked her from his phone
Rehearsals are over and Tom and Ari are making supper at home. Keanu turns up
He left his jacket behind in the rehearsal room and went back to get it afterwards
Barry calls round to see Moll. He apologises and tells her that he has been stupid
He has been thinking about it a lot over the past two days and he admits she’s right
Fiona and Jade have lunch. Fiona tells Jade that Barry knows and has walked out
She thought Jasper would be upset, but he seems to be OK. She was upset at first, but she knows in her heart that she doesn’t love Barry. Not likes she loves Jade

October 15, 2024Season 8 – Eps 67&68
Tommy has taken Bianca out for a curry. She’s happy to be spending time with him
She misses him when he’s on tour. He says he misses her too, but it can’t be helped
Mario tells Carmella and Harry that he’s going to start looking for a flat. It’s time
He’ll look in Huntsford and Peterborough – the latter makes sense due to Poseidon
Duncan asks Sarah how Dan’s trial went. They’ve been busy; haven’t had time to talk
Sarah tells him that Dan has been given a Community Payback Order – the right call
Bianca is having a manicure. She tells Chantelle that Ari has moved in with Tommy
She needs to look her best. Ari is so cool; she worries that Tommy will fall for her
The couple discuss the implications of Dan’s Community Payback Order. He’s gutted
He has to pick up litter and cut back bushes on the bypass. Everyone will see him
Barry asks Fiona why she deleted her dating profiles. She accuses him of spying
Barry persists. She’s still having one-night stands; how is she meeting the women?

The pair have finished recording the first episode of their TV programme. Bob’s tired
He doesn’t think he did very well, but Doreen disagrees and says he’s a natural
Judy comes to see Dan. She tells him that Bob told her about the forthcoming trial
She knows Bob said that she might give him a hard time, but she’s not going to do so
Barry asks if they can still talk after sleeping together. Yes, says Moll. We’re friends
Barry tells her Fiona has deleted her dating profiles but is still doing casual hook-ups
The three are packing up after rehearsal. Sam and Matt have gone down to the bar
Tommy remarks that Matt has been in Huntsford more lately; sitting in on rehearsals
Dan and Laura are waiting for the trial to start. Laura reassures him – it’ll be fine
He’s pleading guilty, he has a good defence lawyer and is getting treatment for GAD
Charlotte vents to Raymond. Charity donations have dropped since she stood down
Now she’s no longer an MP she feels lost and is worried the charity won’t survive

September 23, 2024S8 – Eps 63&64
Dan is distraught. He has seen an article on his upcoming trial in the local paper
The Huntsford Advertiser must have found it on gov.uk in the HMCTS Hearing Lists
The two women are stacking shelves. Judy says Bob’s TV programme starts soon
He’ll be doing his day job as normal and filming in the evenings. He’ll be maxed out
The pair are packing up after their rehearsal. Sam and Keanu have already left
Tom says he’s keeping the flat on now that Jordan and Ryan have moved out
Dan comes into work. Bob says he has read the newspaper article about Dan’s trial
He asks why Dan didn’t tell him about the thefts. He thought it was just the jewellery
It’s opening night at Vicky’s Community Kitchen. Chantelle/Adam order lasagne
While they’re waiting, Vicky tells them she has already had several delivery orders
Sharon has invited Judy to join them. She explains that Judy’s gonna be home alone
Bob’s about to start his TV programme so she wants to reach out/make new friends

Tommy is smitten with his new niece Luna. He’s visiting after Huntsford Gala
He’s still clean, but admits to Jordan and Ryan that he finds it difficult sometimes
Doreen asks Charlotte how it feels not to be an MP anymore following the election
Initially she was busy with the handover, so she didn’t have time to reflect on it
Vicky has a name for her new business – Vicky’s Community Kitchen. She’s excited
She has created a menu and Bianca has produced leaflets, social media posts etc.
Fiona and Jade have had another ‘sleepover’. Jade brings them morning tea in bed
Fiona tells Jade that she has deleted her profiles on the various dating websites
Tommy helps Jordan and Ryan move into their new home with baby Luna. It’s hard
They had way more stuff than they thought – and Luna keeps crying. She’s unsettled
Matt comes round to check that his security consultant has done a good job
Raymond says he has, and Charlotte is relieved that Penistone is safe from intruders

Raymond and Charlotte are enjoying having Sam at home. They make her lunch
Raymond tells her about the autograph hunter who accosted him at the salon
The pair are enjoying the festival. Jasper’s in kids club so they have some peace
Jade remarks that Jasper looked cute when he got his face painted – like a little lion
Barry wakes up in bed with Moll, the morning after their dinner. He’s guilt-ridden
Why, asks Moll. Fiona has done the same thing. You should not feel bad. Don’t go…
Sam’s gig is due to start. Matt ushers Raymond and Charlotte backstage to watch
The crowd is huge and noisy. R&C remark on the fans, the police and the banners
Mario goes backstage after the gig. He congratulates Sam, Tommy and the others
It was a great gig. They sounded really tight, and Sam’s vocals were truly amazing
Carmella and Harry ask Mario how Sam’s gig went. It was pretty good, he says
There was a big crowd of screaming teenagers there – not his target audience at all. It’s just as well he left the band – their current direction wouldn’t have suited him
