Features unreleased live footage and a Q&A with director Gareth Edwards and cast members. Rogue One Premier to be live streamed on December 10th just as they did with The Force Awakens last year.  Rogue One had the biggest ticket presale of 2016. 90% of what TFA did it’s first day. Tracking to hit $130m opening, second Dec opening behind TFA which debuted at a record $248m, eventually hitting 2.07b worldwide. Alan Tudyk would like to see K2SO return for another film. Episode 142: Walt Wednesday – Moana Complete Breakdown! Spoiler Alert! (November 30, 2016)

Welcome back Cast Members, to another episode of Walt Wednesday here at CLOUD CITY CAST!

We were finally able to see the new live action Pete’s Dragon, so we decided to give you guys our spoiler free thoughts on the film. All in all, it was definitely an improvement on the original, while still having that feel good Disney magic. We definitely recommend watching it, if you haven’t already.

Moana is absolutely a stunning piece of work, and we can’t say enough good things about it. This is spoiler heavy, so listeners beware! We broke down the entire movie, from character themes, to the usage of music to further the story as well as provide background on characters, to the lush and enchanting scenery. All of this comes from the brain trust that is Ron Clements and John Musker, two of our favorite directors, who brought us The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Treasure Planet, The Princess and the Frog, and now, finally, Moana.

Episode 141: Marvel Monday – Doctor Strange Still Casts A Spell On The Box Office, Is Lady Death On Her Way, and The New Avengers Discussion! (November 28, 2016)

Soccer is now officially over, which made for a very busy weekend, between the tournament, Thanksgiving, and Liam and Sampson’s birthdays. You’d think we’d be able to take it easy now, but it’s full tilt boogie into the holiday season as we get ready for our son’s birthday and then Christmas.

There wasn’t much in terms of news out of Marvel this week, but Doctor Strange has hit the largest take for a solo introduction character in the MCU, which is quite impressive when you think of who he’s up against. We also discuss Lady Death making her way into the MCU, and then discuss who we expect to make it out of Infinity War and what our MCU dream teams consist of. Episode 140: Force Friday – Spoiler Free Moana Review, Rogue One In Our Sights, The Future of Star Wars! (November 25, 2016)

Moana is finally here, and we can’t stop talking about it. From the music, to the story, to the animation…ahhhhh. By the time you’re reading this, last night was the ABC Magical Holiday Celebration, giving us amazing performances from some of the greatest artists out there, as well as an exclusive look at the lighting of each Disney Castle around the world. We also got to see an new teaser for Rogue One with some scenes we hadn’t been privy to before. Kathleen Kennedy recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Rogue One, Episode 8, and how they’re still deciding how to proceed with the future of the Star Wars franchise. Episode 139: Walt Wednesday – Hong Kong Upgrades, Cars 3 With A Vengeance, Moana In Theatres Now! (November 23, 2016)

Welcome back Cast Members, to another episode of Walt Wednesday here at CLOUD CITY CAST!

Soccer season if finally (almost) over, so we threw a pizza party for my team as we handed out medals and pictures. Definitely a bittersweet ending to the season! Now it’s crunch time as we get ready for Thanksgiving, and gear up towards Remy’s birthday and then Christmas. Now is the time for team no sleep.

Hong Kong Disneyland has been losing money like crazy now that Shanghai is here to stay, so it’s time for Disney to do what Disney does best…update the crap out of their parks. They aren’t taking small steps either, everything from Marvel Land, to Moana Stage Show, to an upgraded Castle! Cars 3 came roaring in with its first teaser and we are impressed. The animation looks great, but will the story hold up? Moana is out in theatres now, and she’s already appearing in Auilani, and she’ll be making her way to park near you before the month is out! We’ll also talk Disney’s ridiculous slate of movies from now till the end of 2019, one of which is the live action Winnie the Pooh! Are you ready to return to the 100 acre woods?

Episode 138: Marvel Monday – Remembering Sharon Jones, The New Miss America Chavez Goes Solo, and The Inhumans Royal Family! (November 21, 2016)

It’s been a busy weekend as we were finishing up the end of soccer season, but it looks like we’re going to continue it for one more weekend. Even though Thanksgiving is almost upon us, we’ve been spending some quality family time together, and even had a super sweet sleepover with our nephew spending the night so we could all stay up watching tv and playing FIFA 17. Ah, the simple things in life!

We had to share a moment to commemorate the legend of Sharon Jones, and what an amazing talent she was, which will forever be encapsulated in the finale of Luke Cage. Miss America, AKA America Chavez gets her own solo comic series as she tries to figure out what really drives her and what kind of heroine she wants to be. We’ll also go in depth on our discussion about Inhumans and what we’d expect to see come to ABC next fall, and why Vin Diesel is not likely to play Black Bolt, accordingly to director James Gunn.

Nothing new to report on us, just more work and soccer and getting ready for the holidays. So onto the news it is!

The House of Mouse did not leave us wanting this week, as we got to see a new trailer for the live action Beauty and the Beast. Mickey’s birthday is this Friday, so you can catch him on Good Morning America as well as get some fun Mickey stuff from the Disney store. Lin-Manuel Miranda has been keeping himself busy between Moana, a new live action Disney film, and working on a secret animated project with director Byron Howard. We will watch his career with great interest…muahahahaha! Also the world is back to talking about Disney buying out Netflix, so we weighed the pros and cons of such an agreement as well as Reed Hastings possible future role in all of this. If you’re planning a Disney World trip, your opportunity might be coming sooner than you thought, and we’re ready to lay out the details to make your trip magical.

Welcome back Cast Members, to another episode of FORCE FRIDAY here at CLOUD CITY CAST!

This week it’s been painting our house and hanging with family for us, as well as a sprinkle of relaxation as only the DiCosimo’s can do. Or most families, if you’re a bunch of homebodies like us.

Now that Doctor Strange is out, we have to immediately turn our attention to the slate of movies for the MCU in 2017, specifically Guardians Vol 2, Spider-man Homecoming and Thor Ragnarok. But what about the films past that? And what about the films beyond THAT? It’s blowing our minds to think about all the awesomeness that is to come, so we discussed some of the potential films that we could see further down the line, which could be sequels or new characters we have yet to meet.

Welcome back Cast Members, to another episode of MARVEL MONDAY here at CLOUD CITY CAST!

Not too much went on this week, oh wait, we had a presidential election, that’s right, almost forgot about that, or at least tried to! No matter what side of the equation you fell on, this was one for the history books, but we are glad it’s over…for now. Also, if you’re not watching Superstore, you should probably get on that.

Not too much happened this week for news, other than a super awesome international trailer for Rogue One that showed us what may be a kyber crystal! We’ll discuss its potential impact on the story as well as The Force Awakens collector’s edition 3D blu-ray due out Tuesday, Nov 15, complete with new deleted scenes and commentary. There’s been some headway on the construction of Star Wars Land over in Disneyland, and there’s even video you can check out for yourself!

Make sure you check out her instagram page where you can find a link to her etsy shop (currently closed but set to open mid-November.)
