In this unexpected emergency episode, the boys face down the worst writing they have ever seen on the show courtesy of Ubisoft's latest, Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 5 is the story of a mute, disembodied arm holding a gun as you float across Hope County, Montana on a mission to save the county from a dangerous doomsday cult. The cult, which seems to have no ideology beyond "Killin' folks is cool", is lead by the supposedly charismatic madman Joseph Seed and his deranged family. Can you stop Old Joe's diabolical machinations? Should you even bother?

In this episode, the boys return to an old friend and talk about Visceral Games' magnum opus, Dead Space 2.

Dead Space 2 takes place 3 years after the first game. Our hero, Isaac Clarke, survived the horrors aboard the starship Ishimura, but finds himself trapped on the space station The Sprawl as yet another invasion of deadly Necromorphs breaks out. Even worse, the psychological trauma of the Ishimura is manifesting as deadly reality, and Isaac struggles against foes both real and imagined.

Also, lots of zombie babies.

There's not much to do in the sleepy burg of Willamette, Colorado besides kill time at the shopping mall. But now that mall has become the last safe place in the city as the streets are flooded with shambling undead. Meanwhile, Donald Duck and Goofy set out on a journey from Disney Castle to find the missing King Mickey Mouse. As per Spookchamber tradition, we return to the legendary Resident Evil franchise with the third entry in the series, Resident Evil 3 : Nemesis.

Jill Valentine survived the terrors of the Spencer Mansion, but now the zombie apocalypse has followed her home. Jill tries to make a desperate escape from a city overrun with undead mutants, but finds that one specific and very angry monster is gunning specifically for her. And he does actually have a gun, by the way. Nemesis does not mess around.

Also, we get distracted and talk about Resident Evil 7 for a while, but don't worry; we stick to joke spoilers.

In the third entry in this year's Spookchamber, the boys delve into the terrors of the mind with Shinji Mikami's The Evil Within.

Detective Sebastian Castellanos works a tough beat in Krimson City. But things are about to get far worse for him and his partner Joseph as they find themselves welcomed into a madman's twisted mind. Trapped in a nightmare world, Sebastian contends with a legion of monstrous apparitions and deadly traps as he desperately seeks an escape from the diabolical Ruvik.
