  • Episode 68 - The Bouncer
This episode, the boys take a trip to the city of Edge with thier first foray into the beat-em-up genre, The Bouncer!
The Bouncer is the story of three bouncers, actually; Sion, Kou, and Volt (the best one). After thier bar is attacked and actual ninjas kidnap Sion's kinda-sorta girlfriend, the trio give chase and find themselves quickly caught up in a battle against megalomaniacal madman and his corporate stooges. The Bouncer has it all: ninjas, shapeshifters, robots of all varieties, death rays, and even our old friend, the humble train fight.

  • Episode 63 - Bulletstorm
George Carlin famously said that there were 7 big swear words you couldn't say on TV. Bulletstorm is the story of one man's journey to get that number up to triple digits.
This week the boys are glad to have that Explicit tag on iTunes as they take on this delightfully juvenile and obscenely fun first person shooter that was all too tragically overlooked back in 2011 when it launched. Bulletstorm follows Grayson Hunt as his quest for vengeance leaves him and his best pal Ishi Sato stranded on an abandoned vacation world, surrounded by screaming maniacs and bloodthirsty mutants. Luckily, Grayson has the kill skills to cut a swath through this apocalyptic landscape as they search for a way out. Also, Godzilla is there.

  • Bonus Episode: Best and Worst 2016!
Note: This episode was recorded at the same time as Samurai Western, so it may have similar echo issues. We apologize again.
2016 has been a year of one terrible catastrophe after another. But, it also saw the release of some quality games! Jared and Greg reflect on some of the more memorable titles released this year, good and bad. Even though we forgot some big ones (sorry Dark Souls 3 and MGSV. We love you), we still had a good time making goofs and talking about Spyro.

About Hyper-Bolic Game Chamber

From the publisher's feed

Hyperbolic Game Chamber is a comedy podcast about video games. More specifically, the writing in said video games. Plots in video games tend to be completely absurd, bizarre and sometimes nonsensical journeys into insanity, and that’s exactly why we love them.
