Between the years1861 and 1865 the United States was at war, with itself.  It was one of the darkest periods in American history.  The war produced hundreds of thousands of casualties.  

 It was a war that was meant to decide the future of the American nation.  It was meant to be short. Instead, for over four years, over 10,000 battles and skirmishes took place, very few of those decisive in any way.  Some of these battles were so fierce they could be heard over 100 miles away.  Join me for a journeyyou'll never forget.
