I AM HUMAN The Movement episodes

  • Artsy Fartsy

Art shows itself in many forms. But for an artist who needs inspiration to allow their creative juices to flow, what kind of art do they look to? Bryn talks about her artistic journey of creating I AM HUMAN along with the experience of finding a sense of community when walking alongside other creative humans.  Did you know Laura used to be a band nerd? (insert band camp joke here) She gets down and brassy about the creative outlets  she's plugged into while dishing on the "unique" way she used to decorate her house before she started dating an artist. Join the conversation and let us paint a picture for you.

  • The Biggest Wedding Crasher of 2020 : Covid-19

In a year like 2020, so many engaged couples had planned their perfect wedding on the perfect date in what was to be a perfect year. Venues were booked years in advance while couples spent thousands on deposits in order to plan every detail of their special day. But like the rest of the world, the wedding industry never saw what was coming. They met their biggest wedding crasher yet, Covid-19. Having grown up in the industry, Bryn shares her own unique perspective on what it's been like to make a living around weddings in the midst a global pandemic. And not just for herself but for so many others that rely on this work and who truly make these events the magical days that they're meant to be. We talk to extra special guest Ceili Fitzpatrick about her experience of being a bride to be in the thick of 2020. How hard was it planning a wedding during a pandemic? Why is Ceili deathly afraid of navel oranges? With her wedding coming up in May, we look at some of the restrictions as well as the changes made between weddings in 2020 compared to the hopeful events for 2021. Are we even going to be allowed to dance? Does my mask have to match my suit? Join us to find out on this week's latest episode!

  • For the Love of Dogs

This episode is one for the dogs! Special guests, Hannah Devich and Jenny Cope join in on the tail wagging conversation as we discuss the challenges of pet parenting  dogs who are considered to be "Reactive".  A lot of dogs struggle with issues such as aggression, fear, anxiety, and so many other things that can sometimes harbor a variety of unwanted behaviors from our furry best friends. And sometimes those issues can really start to impact their quality of life. Navigating those struggles alongside your pet and advocating for their growth is what being a dog lover is all about. Especially for some of these ladies who not only have pets but have worked in the industry. Bryn and Laura discuss using baby gates in effort to keep 2 of their own dogs separate at all times while Hannah and Jenny discuss their own experience being around dogs who struggle with reactivity. Are muzzles actually considered an OK tool to use? Does training miraculously "fix" a dog's outlandish behavior? Why is dog agility on ESPN? Sit, stay and join us as we dig up a few bones on the topic of "reactive dogs"
