We Want To Hear From YOU!
For anyone to prove or to be absolutely certain there is no GOD, he or she would have to actually be GOD themselves, possessing at least 2 godly characteristics. One would have to be omnipresent (the ability to be present everywhere at once and have been present before the beginning of time and able to be present after end-times) and omniscient (the ability to possess all awareness and understanding of all things: past, present, and future).
The Bible tells us, “In the beginning, GOD created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of GOD was hovering over the waters” Genesis 1:1-2. The most profound evidence of the existence of GOD is incredibly outside the writings of the Bible, it is the universe. If GOD does not exist, then the universe would have had to create itself.
Now let's examine that possibility. For the universe to have created itself, it would have had to both exist and not exist at the same time. Puzzled? Follow closely. For the universe to have created itself, it would have had to first exist and be prior to itself. Because in order for anything to create something, it has to first exist itself. Since nothing can exist prior to itself to bring itself to be, this leaves us to draw the conclusion that it is impossible for the universe to have created itself.
Here are 2 questions for skeptics who hold firm to the Big Bang Theory:
#1. What existed before the universe, to cause it to be and even generate a bang?
#2. And whatever that was, should we not at least research it and upon discovery, honor and, even worship it?

We tend to find every reason under the sun to put off aligning our lives with God’s ordained purpose
We are even arrogant enough to think we somehow have plenty of time to put our affairs with God in order as if we control time
We make time to pursue everything we desire. We build and beautify our homes, showcase our success, boast about the fine cars we want, and drive
The scripture refers to how when we pursue things putting the building of God’s temple on the back burn how our thirst is never quenched
The scriptures speak of with all our clothes we never find warmth
I want you to think of the richest person that comes to your mind. Do you have them in mind?
Now evaluate their existence, they are not free from trouble, drama, headache, addiction, deception, or thieves.
With all their wealth they still are in pursuit of more, bigger, greater, more titles, more awards, and more accolades. They can afford the finest of wines, but their thirsts are still never quenched.
Why? Because there is nothing that is created by the hands of mand that will ever quench the thirsts of our souls.

There are many misconceptions about the identity of the Holy Spirit. Some view the Holy Spirit as this mystical unexplainable force.
Some want to challenge that the Holy Spirit is a power source similar to electricity for lack of a better word, that gives you a tingling controlled by God but not fully a being Himself. Then others want to suggest the Holy Spirit is just another name for Jesus, in spirit form.
Neither of these ideas line up with what the Bible actually says about the Holy Spirit. The Bible describes the Holy Spirit as an entity within itself, a being who has been present with the Father and the Son since before time began.
The fact that the Holy Spirit is God is clearly seen in many Scriptures, including Acts 5:3-4. In this verse Peter confronts Ananias as to why he lied to the Holy Spirit and tells him that he had “not lied to men but to God.” It is a clear declaration that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God.
And then in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, we see the omniscience characteristic of the Holy Spirit as it identifies the Holy Spirit as connected to God but clearly separate. “But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”
The Holy Spirit is indeed a divine being because it alone possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows. The Holy Spirit can be grieved. And last but certainly not least The Spirit intercedes for us.
And to the skeptics I say, if what dwells in me that keeps me from going off the deep end, that bridles my tongue, and keeps me from reacting unseemingly to the people and turmoil in this world, if it is not the Holy Spirit, then tell me what is this? Because whatever it is it sure keeps me, comforts me and has befriended me.

The goal of this morning’s message is not to make you lose faith and hope in the awesomeness of God and His extraordinary blessings but to keep you from being deceived by Satan.
I calculated my blessings in dollars and cents, trips, luxuries and how quickly my desires were being met, and how accessible the this I wanted was.
But those so-called blessings as I so proudly labeled them were coming to me outside of the will the God. What I was calling blessings, were distractions, web entanglements Satan has designed to keep me out of the will of God for my life.

I want to remind you this morning, that what ever mess you make, what ever trips you up, will not separate you from the love God.
God doesn’t count how many time we fall or fail, he is more concern with how and if we get up and if we embrace the wisdom that comes with our mistakes.
God’s ultimate desire is that we bring to him our bruises, as he is not only our father but the ultimate healer
Romans 8:35-37 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ….No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

Imagine being in a class and having to take a test, when the test results are returned you discover you’ve failed. Now imagine being bold and arrogant enough to go to the teacher demanding a higher grade, and blaming the fact failed because you cheated off of your neighbor's paper, and their answers were wrong.
But then imagine the teacher's response being “well everyone in the classroom had different tests”. Not only would you have revealed your arrogance but you would have clearly shown yourself to be a fool.
That scenario gives divine revelation to 2 Timothy 2:15 which instructs us to study to show thyself approved.
We as Christians have become accustomed to just showing up for church, and have the audacity to broadcast our attendance as a badge of honor.
\We show up for the sole purpose of TAKING IN what the minister who has taken the time to study HAS PREPARED TO SHARE WITH US, mainly because we won’t take the time to study the Word of God for ourselves so we look at church as a quick fix, an alternative way of inhaling the Word of God with little effort.
Now please don’t get me wrong or blow what I am saying out of context, there is absolutely nothing wrong with going to church, for God calls for us to assemble ourselves.
What I am talking about is that we need to be uncomfortable with our lack of studying and reading the word of God for ourselves. We should be uncomfortable with only inhaling the word of God when someone else is exhaling.
We essentially show up to cheat off another’s test. We depend heavily on the sacrifice of another’s study to bless and help us pass our tests. While never considering committing to studying on our own so that we can pass the tests assigned to us.
In life, there will be tests that will require the fruits of our own labor, the fruits of our own commitment to studying the word of God, and the fruits of our personal relationship with God.
Your ability to pass these tests lies in your acknowledgment of the word of God being your source of deliverance.

In order to accomplish the will of God it will require faith in Him and faith in yourself. Faith in yourself acknowledges the consistent presence of God. Faith in yourself is necessary as it confirms you believe in that you can do all thing through Christ who strengthens you.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

"Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14
As we embrace this season we recognize we are being called to be to do differently, and we are calling for a water fast. This water fast is symbolic of sacrificing the things, the attitudes, the mindsets, and the distractions we have accepted and ultimately depend on to quench our flesh-driven thirsts.
This water fast is about replacing everything in our lives that is not pleasing to God, that is not in alignment with His plan or that does not fall subject to His will with the living water that Jesus offered the Samaritan women. This water fast is about spiritually quenching our thirst and establishing a craving for what pleases God.
The living water Jesus spoke of was a metaphor for spiritual washing, a refreshing which we all need far more than the water, or the array of various fluids we use to quench our physical thirsts.
This is likely the simplest fast you have ever heard or engaged in, however, because of what we have become accustomed to quenching our thirsts, it will be challenging and we will see our physical normalities reflect and mirror what we have accepted as our spiritual normalities.
On this fast, you can eat anything you want, whatever time you want. This fast has no dietary restrictions that should conflict with any medical conditions. For 7 days the only liquid that is permissible is water, without any sweetener. No coffee, no tea, no sparkling or flavored water. Feel free to add raw veggies such as cucumbers or raw fruit such as lemons, to your water, but no sugar, no honey, no natural syrups, or any other kind of sweeteners, be they, natural or unnatural.
If you want to commit to these 7 days of water fasting, beginning this Sunday the 8th through next Saturday the14th as we seek to symbolically indulge and spiritually transform our lives by partaking of the living water Jesus spoke of then please respond to this text message or email and I will send you the 7-day prayer and proclamation itinerary for the fast.
If you do not respond, you will not receive the fasting information, for we only want those who are prepared to answer the call of doing differently in the name of Jesus.
You can respond via email to receive fasting info at [email protected]

As we enter a new year, what are you prepared to do differently to align your life, and your will with God's purpose and His will?
We have seen many changes over the last few seasons and there is more to come, good and bad, but God is looking for those who say they trust, love ad believe in him to do something differently than they have been doing.
It's time to write the vision and make it plain, write out your plan for what you intend to do differently. What will it take for you to make and sustain the changes? If you want an accountability partner, Pastor Deb is willing to do that just go to www.BibleDeliverance.org and make the request.
