We Want To Hear From YOU!
Good friend, don’t forget all I’ve taught you;
take to heart my commands.
They’ll help you live a long, long time,
a long life lived full and well.
Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.
Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.
Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
your wine vats will brim over.
But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline;
don’t sulk under his loving correction.
It’s the child he loves that God corrects;
a father’s delight is behind all this. (Proverbs 3:1-12)

We Want To Hear From YOU!
God said: “Before I shaped you in the womb,
I knew all about you.
Before you saw the light of day,
I had holy plans for you:
A prophet to the nations—
that’s what I had in mind for you.”
But I said, “Hold it, Master God! Look at me.
I don’t know anything. I’m only a boy!”
God told me, “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a boy.’
I’ll tell you where to go and you’ll go there.
I’ll tell you what to say and you’ll say it.
Don’t be afraid of a soul.
I’ll be right there, looking after you.”
God’s Decree.
God reached out, touched my mouth, and said,
“Look! I’ve just put my words in your mouth—hand-delivered!
See what I’ve done? I’ve given you a job to do
among nations and governments—a red-letter day!
Your job is to pull up and tear down,
take apart and demolish,
And then start over,
building and planting.”
God’s Message came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
I said, “A walking stick—that’s all.”
And God said, “Good eyes! I’m sticking with you.
I’ll make every word I give you come true.”
God’s Message came again: “So what do you see now?”
I said, “I see a boiling pot, tipped down toward us.”
Then God told me, “Disaster will pour out of the north on everyone living in this land.
Watch for this: I’m calling all the kings out of the north.”
God’s Decree.
“They’ll come and set up headquarters
facing Jerusalem’s gates,
Facing all the city walls,
facing all the villages of Judah.
I’ll pronounce my judgment on the people of Judah
for walking out on me—what a terrible thing to do!—
And courting other gods with their offerings,
worshiping as gods sticks they’d carved, stones they’d painted.
“But you—up on your feet and get dressed for work!
Stand up and say your piece. Say exactly what I tell you to say.
Don’t pull your punches or I’ll pull you out of the lineup.
“Stand at attention while I prepare you for your work.
I’m making you as impregnable as a castle,
Immovable as a steel post,
solid as a concrete block wall.
You’re a one-man defense system
against this culture,
Against Judah’s kings and princes,
against the priests and local leaders.
They’ll fight you, but they won’t
even scratch you.
I’ll back you up every inch of the way.”
God’s Decree. "Jeremiah 1:5-19

Let me begin by defining what sin is. Sin is any violation of the mandate and or commands of God.
1 John 5:17 All wrongdoing is sin
James 4:17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
1 Cor 6:9-10 tells us “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]homosexuals, nor [b]sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God”
Notice the scripture deals with all types and ways we violate the word of God. We sin with our mouths, with our hands, with our bodies, with our minds in our thoughts and we sin against one another. And there is no degree of sin, with one greater than the other for all sin will keep us from entering into the Kingdom of God.
Many ask, why does God allow sin. God doesn’t allow sin, sin is an option and man’s decisions execute sin. If truth be told, sin is a necessary evil. If God were to remove sin as an option, He would first and foremost have to renege on the promise of freedom. Because true freedom has to extend the option for each one to make their own decisions.
Our freedom is essential to our relationship with God. Because freedom is the core element of love. And love can’t be forced. God shows his love to us in so many ways, ways we could never truly count and His ultimate desire is that we reciprocate with our love of him. There is only one way to show our love to God, he told us his love language in John 14:15: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
God, like us, wants genuine love, which comes from a desire, a longing to choose Him, and a willingness to make the sacrifices it takes to exalt a sincere love of God.
If God were to remove our option to sin then our righteousness would be rooted in it being our only option. No one wants love from anyone based on them being that person’s only option and neither does God. If anyone is deserving of genuine love it is God.
So since we will always have the option to sin, we will never be totally free from the ability to sin. When we accept "salvation" God does not take anything from us, hence that would be in violation of His promise of freedom. All our desires and abilities are still there when we accept salvation.

When I was a child being raised in the church, I remember testimony service being a big part of our service. The role of Christian testimony is often misunderstood.
The testimony of a believer should not be a laundry list or a checklist of failures and successes. A testimony is not about the fulfillment of things we wished for
The only reason for a believer to share a testimony should be part of the framework of a larger story connected to the transforming power that Jesus Christ has on our soul, our heart, and our mind. Outside of such parameters, it's not a testimony but boasting and James 4:16 tells that boasting is arrogant and evil.
As a believer, who is charged to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ we have to keep our testimony free from arrogance and anything that falls contrary to the righteousness of God.
So let me make it plain, if you have acquired success by taking ungodly paths, that is not a testimony, just your story. A testimony should not be taken as lightly or misrepresented.
In Isaiah 8:16 the scripture tells us to bind up the testimony, in other words, hold it as sacred but why, the scripture goes on to tell us that our testimonies are what is able to seal the teaching of God amongst His disciples.
A Christian’s testimony should exalt our walking away from the ways of the world and embracing the righteousness of God.
By definition, the word tes·ti·mo·ny means the evidence or proof provided by the existence or appearance of something, a solemn attestation as to truth. We walk convinced that the only truth that is undisputable is rooted in the things of God because the Bible tells us that God is truth.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
So I urge you this morning to Stop sharing just your story and tell your testimony, the impact that the blood of Jesus has had on your soul, your mind, and your heart, for it's our testimony that will draw and build the kingdom of God.

We live in a society where if we are not careful, we will fall for the tricks of the enemy that prompt us to "dumb down" the word of God. What we have to remember is the Word of God transcends time, we don't serve a God who changes based on the trends of this world.
We have become so democracy-minded, that we take no considerations that we serve the King of Kings and our desire is to spend eternity in His Kingdom. In a Kingdom we have no vote, in a Kingdom, our voice does not count. In a Kingdom, what the King says do you do and what the Kings says don't do you don't do, plain and simple.
Now we always have a choice whether to obey the mandates of our King or not, but what we are not privy to, is changing His mandates or adjusting HIs Word.

You know when people act differently around those with fancy titles and money than they normally do, people use to say that they’re putting on heirs.
When you are putting on heirs you are on your best behavior, you make sure to say the right things, the correct way, you hold your head a little higher while maintaining a sense of humility because you are in the presence of dignitaries.
We forge the King of Kings, the Lord of Lord is omnipresent
David asks God a question in Psalm 139:7-10
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,10
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
Not that David was trying to find a place out of the presence of God, he was confirming how well God knew him. And he knows us so well because of the time he spends with us which has been before we were formed in our mother's womb. There is nowhere we can go and be out of the presence and eyesight of God. There is no door we can shut, no curtain we can close, nor nothing big enough that we hide behind that can block us out of the vision of God
I know some of you are thinking…. Oh no, you mean God saw that too… Yup
But I want you more than anything to understand the reason behind God’s omnipresence is not just to monitor and police our behavior.
But to effectively be able to protect us, what hours could he safely block out, what place can he put on the do not enter list. If you stumble, his promise is to always be accessible to you.
Also, it's the only way God can uphold his proclamation of being a just God. If he is to hold us accountable for what we do, and don’t do, what we say and don’t say, it would be unjust to depend on the witness of others.
We don’t serve a God that validates or certifies gossip in any way shape or form. God's omnipresence is necessary for Him to walk in His all his glory.
So when you take all of this into account, live your life focused on doing what's right, correct, proper, and fair. You cannot turn off and on the presence of God, so you might as well get used to living a life of putting on heirs.
Imagine how much better we would be, how much better we all would be if everybody, everyday all day long acknowledged that we all dwell in the presence of royalty.
