  • Kevin Williams - Irrational Kindness
Kevin is a Chick-fil-A franchisee that has the rare privilege of running three restaurants in the city of Canton, GA. Kevin is a husband, father, community leader, friend and waffle fry cook that has a passion for inspiring the next generation and providing his team with the most amazing place to work. Kevin has a drive for seeing other’s dreams come true while he provides them a place to learn, fail, and launch into their future. Kevin is an author, speaker, podcaster, and investor in the next generation which is the inspiration behind Irrational Kindness.

Chick-fil-A employees are nationally known for
the kindness with which they treat their restaurant guests. Kevin Williams, a rare
triple-franchisee of Chick-Fil-A, wrote Irrational Kindness: The Crazy Pursuit of
an Extraordinary Life (January 2021) as both an operating manual for life and an
employee handbook for his Chick-fil-A staff, encouraging us all to explore kindness
in a unique way both towards yourself and others.
“Think of this book as an operating manual for the heart—written for teens, moms,
dads, students, retirees, recent graduates, and dreamers, all of whom are bound
together by two empowering and sobering truths, which are that our jobs are much
more than just jobs and our lives are about much more than serving ourselves,” writes Williams. “Allow
this book to serve as a harmonious reminder that our hopes and dreams don’t have to be derailed—not by
our fears, our pasts, or by people who make us feel like we have to know everything to be successful, or
    even just to get started.”
Williams is available for interviews and can speak to:
    ● 5 simple ways to show kindness in 2021
    ● Why taking Sunday’s off can make all the difference
    ● Why failing at your job could be the best career decision ever
    ● Looking for an extraordinary life?
    ● When someone treats you wrong, how do you treat them right?
Williams strips irrationality of its negative context by suggesting that living irrationally is the most
positive, inspiring and empowering way to be. Irrational Kindness serves as a reminder that everyone has
the power to live an extraordinary life, regardless of their fears, the messiness of their lives or their past
mistakes. Williams implores his readers to value understanding others and to prioritize kindness–towards
    yourself and others–over everything.

  • Sienna Miller talks New Movie Wander Darkly
SIENNA MILLER, star of American Sniper, Foxcatcher and new film WANDER DARKLY

ABOUT SIENNA'S NEW FILM WANDER DARKLY, IN THEATERS AND STREAMING DECEMBER 11th
In WANDER DARKLY, a traumatic accident leaves a couple, Adrienne (Sienna Miller) and Matteo (Diego Luna), in a surreal state of being that takes them on a disorienting journey through the duality of their shared moments. By reliving fond recollections from the beginning of their romance while also navigating the overwhelming truths of their present, they must rediscover the love that truly binds them together. Writer-director Tara Miele offers a profound new perspective on the delicate nature of relationships with this emotionally moving story about a couple who must reflect on their past in order to face their uncertain future.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY ARTICLE ON WANDER DARKLY FROM OCTOBER 2020
"What do you think happens when you die?"
It's a question we've all asked ourselves, but in Wander Darkly, Sienna Miller's Adrienne must literally confront the great beyond if she wants to move forward from a traumatic accident.
Dolphins and lush landscapes abound in EW's exclusive trailer for the film, before darkness and horror begin to descend. Wander Darkly finds Adrienne and her partner Matteo (Diego Luna) after a car crash, which leaves them in a disorienting, surreal state in which they relive their history together - from their fond beginnings to the hard truths in their present. They can't face their uncertain future, with their newborn daughter's wellbeing at stake, until they reflect on their past.  Director Tara Miele, whose own car accident inspired her to write the film, told EW at SCAD that it was "quite cathartic" to share her story with the world. For her, the film's themes surrounding the value of life were amplified following Kobe Bryant's unexpected death, which happened the day after they screened the film at Sundance.  "I was in my head - you're at Sundance, it's quite noisy, and there's all this craziness going on," Miele said. "When that happened, I just remember thinking, 'Right, that's why you made this movie, because [life] is so delicate. It's so precious. And none of this is really 'the thing,' right? The thing is your family and the people you love and the time you have.'"
Miller's recent performances - in Wander Darkly as well as in 2018's American Woman, another complex indie centered around a woman dealing with tragedy - have earned her career-high reviews. The veteran performer spoke to EW about roles for women in 2020 and what she looks for in a film.
"I'm always looking to be challenged. I think the roles are a little better, I think people are more focused on more fully-fledged female characters in cinema," Miller said. "I was just fortunate to find two really rich people to play. I also think being a woman is messy and complicated and hard and emotional. And they felt very real to me, very grounded in a sense of reality. And that's what I'm always looking for is, 'Does this tell the truth about the human experience from a female perspective?'"
Wander Darkly arrives in select theaters and on-demand Dec. 11. It also stars Beth Grant, Aimee Carrero, Tory Kittles, Brett Rice, and Vanessa Bayer.

  • hucoaction.org: Chelsey Youman testified before the Texas State Senate Affairs Committee
DALLAS, December 8, 2020 -- Human Coalition Action Texas State Director Chelsey Youman testified today before the Texas State Senate Affairs Committee on how the state can further protect the lives of the preborn and provide more resources for women experiencing unexpected pregnancies. In her testimony, Youman recognized the need for the state to continue regulating abortion but also asked the committee to seek to better understand the reasons women seek abortions.

“We believe that there is still significant room for the State of Texas to lead in protecting lives simply through understanding why women abort their preborn children and focusing efforts on serving them with already available assistance,” said Youman in her testimony. “By working to alleviate the perceived need women have for abortion, we can serve both women and their children, enabling families to flourish.”

Youman went on to say, “There are two notable factors that women planning to abort most have in common. First, 75% of these women say that if their circumstances were different, they would prefer to keep their child and parent. Second, they are unaware that any public or private assistance for their circumstances exists.

“Texas has made large investments in providing services to women, pregnant or not. Texas built a solid foundation on which to serve the vulnerable in our communities. Yet, with all of the available community programs in the State of Texas, approximately 55,000 preborn Texan children are still aborted every year. This loss of life is tragic. And it is avoidable.

“Human Coalition Action identified a rectifiable gap that persists. Pregnant women who are planning to abort are not aware community resources exist, nor how to locate them, and they need support in obtaining them. Pregnant women planning to abort most often choose life when they know help is available, and they begin to see hope for their situation. Reaching this specific vulnerable population, which is not yet reached, is crucial to saving lives.

“We recommend the State of Texas continue to lead in unprecedented efforts to address the demand for abortion by creating a program to ensure every pregnant woman who is planning to abort receives a personal offer of public and private assistance from an individual with no pecuniary interest in her abortion, before her abortion. The program should enable every pregnant woman who is planning to abort a meaningful opportunity to engage support, including prenatal and postpartum care. Further, the program should include enough capacity to offer assistance to every woman planning to abort in the state. By intercepting women during the crucial pre-abortive phase and connecting them with support that our communities already provide, we can decrease abortions in our state by upwards of 30%. That would save nearly 17,000 preborn children in Texas next year. Or 750 classrooms of children.

“Texas does not have to wait for the Roe or Casey framework to be overturned to save tens of thousands of children in our state. We are not at the mercy of the courts or appointees or the president to decrease abortion rates. By simply understanding why women seek abortions and by acting strategically to reach this vulnerable population, we can protect our preborn citizens in ways yet unimagined.”

Chelsey YoumanTexas State Director and National Legislative Advisor
Chelsey Youman, Esq., serves the pro-life coalition, as well as women and their preborn children, by advocating for pro-life policies and jurisprudence; mobilizing and unifying local grassroots to strengthen the pro-life movement and its footprint; and engaging with the public to ultimately strengthen our community’s desire to enable women and protect preborn children.
Chelsey’s professional experience includes working as senior counsel and chief of staff for First Liberty Institute, concentrating on religious liberty matters and First Amendment rights. At First Liberty Institute, she litigated on behalf of and advised hundreds of clients regarding conscience rights nationwide. Chelsey has also worked in private practice, where she successfully litigated corporate fraud matters, complex commercial litigation, and consumer rights issues in both federal and state jurisdictions.
Chelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas A&M, and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University.
Chelsey is happily married with two children. Her family is active in their church, serving in the premarital and pro-life ministries there. They enjoy traveling, adventuring, and eating good food.
