Shane O Da Optimist Interview at KE 2018 SXSW in Austin, TX!
Exclusive interview with your hosts Dre Coop!!! and Shemaiah Reed
https://www.instagram.com/yungovaseer/
https://www.instagram.com/shemaiahreed/

Shane O Bio

Was born in Houston, Texas; but due to his moms’ continuous struggle with drugs and alcohol he was sent to Beaumont, TX at just 1 year old after being adopted by his grandparents. Despite his exposure to gangs and violence, Shane-O leaned more toward his passion for sports and music which resulted in him learning to play the piano and drums by ear, as well as write lyrics and free style. In high school he and 5 close friends developed a soon to be popular rap group that slowly disassembled over time due to everyday trials and tribulations, not to mention the death of the one member that Shane-O was closest to.

After several years of writers’ block, experiencing the “street life” first hand and basically hustling to survive; Shane-O finally developed a new spark to rekindle the flame of his passion for music. “I couldn’t deny the power of GOD after witnessing Him not only deliver me from the street life but even delivering my mom who was once imprisoned but is now a minister.” It was then that he decided to focus on his relationship with God which guided him into entrepreneurship and strengthened him as an example for the five children he and his beautiful wife are raising. “It’s not all about the money with me. It’s about reaching out to the millions of souls that have been lost through years of corrupted music and have become products of their circumstances. Since the ear is the gateway to the soul, my legacy’s mission is to redirect and resurrect the mindset of this generation as well as the generations to come.”

Dre L.O.C. Kindom Legacy Interview at KE 2018 SXSW in Austin, TX!
Exclusive interview with your hosts Dre Coop!!! and Shemaiah Reed
https://www.instagram.com/yungovaseer/
https://www.instagram.com/shemaiahreed/

Dre L.O.C. Bio

Captivating the stage with a charisma and presence that artists rarely capture, Dre’ L.O.C. is a gift and talent that has been San Antonio’s best kept secret for quite some time. Partnering with the Kingdom Legacy Records Family, Dre’ L.O.C. is now embarking on a new musical journey.

The release of his first single on the label, simply titled “AMEN” is set to be released on December 31, 2017. The single will soon be followed up with an EP release, “THE THRONE”.

Growing up in different parts of California, even as a child, Dre’ L.O.C. was captivated by poetry and rap music. However, much of Dre’s early adult life was spent in and out of incarceration. For over 15 years, Dre’ was slave to the elements of street life, gangs, fast money, alcohol and drugs. Only in reflection can we say that God’s mercy and grace was covering Dre’ the entire time. Now, as a husband, father and a pastor. Dre’ L.O.C. uses his experience to prove the emptiness of life outside of Jesus Christ. Having shared the platform with other well known hip-hop artists and appeared in a nationwide film “Without a Father”, Dre’ continues to fight fervently to advance the Kingdom of Heaven.

The latter part of Dre’ L.O.C.’s name comes from the scripture Romans 8:35-39, where the apostle Paul goes on to say, “Who shall separate us from the Love of Christ?” The Love of Christ, then, makes the acronym L.O.C. Without a doubt, Dre’ L.O.C has set out to boldly take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the world through his music, with demonstration, power and absolutely… NO SHAME!

Romans 1:16

Josiah Caleb Bio

Josiah Caleb also known as Josiah Harris was born January 14, 1990 in Plano, Texas.

Father: J.C. Harris, Mother: Dortheria Harris. He is the youngest of three siblings having one sister, Tiffaney and brother, Jeremiah. When he was about 5 his dad was sentenced to 75 years in prison leaving his mom to take care of him and his brother. His mother being a single mother, struggled paying the mortgage at her home in Plano, TX and they ultimately became homeless, moving from place to place .In 1998 he moved to Dallas with his mother and brother where he completed high school at A. Maceo Smith in 2008. Growing up in the Highland Hills community was not easy. Experiencing a life of gangs, poverty, and violence, Josiah always strived to be different. He found a strong liking in music which bloomed and grew over time, since he was a little child. He started his first music lessons playing the trombone in the 4th grade. He began to develop a great sound on his instrument winning awards and placing in city wide competitions. Josiah also enjoyed sports, especially p basketball and enjoyed playing the sport for recreation. Some of his likes include playing pool, swimming, watching movies, dining and meeting people. When he got to high school he joined the choir for the first time under the direction of the great Raymond Greer. His first year in the choir was tough but discipline in the art and interpersonal discipline was developed. His voice began to mature year after year. As graduation time came he had lots of scholarships to different HBCU’s but he chose to go to Langston University where he was in the marching band and the choir. Ultimately, Paul Quinn College is where he graduated from college and earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Josiah felt that he wanted to finally take out time to focus on his music career. Through all the ups and downs in life Josiah always knew that God had a calling on his life. So, he submitted his will and talent to God and began a music career in Gospel music. His unique sound is unparalleled, and he brings a fresh new perspective to the Christian musical world and too this day God has used him to touch the lives of many people all over the world. Josiah has traveled to countries such as Haiti using his ministry not just song but outreach to help rebuild communities and teach about the love of God. His love for the youth has sparked his “Saving Souls Like This Movement”. Which he uses to spread the truth to not just the youth of this generation but to all ages. Through his ministry he prays that people will see the truth and know that through the blood shed of Jesus Christ they can have eternal Life
