Today's guest on I Am Refocused Podcast Special Edition is music artist Rahn Anthoni!

Bio

Award-winning Christian artist Rahn Anthoni took the international press and airwaves by storm with 2017’s most inspirational track, “I’ll Trust You.” The song earned him a Radio Music Award and an Indie Music Channel Award, and numerous other accolades, including the Man-Up Award, for his charity work. Rahn’s history with inspirational music has helped him develop a positive relationship with God and the world of song. Despite the heartbreaking circumstances surrounding the death of his special needs son, Aaron Hatcher, Rahn has been able to turn tragedy to triumph, delivering a message of hope and love to the masses.

Encouraged by the support the country music world showed his r&b-flavored music, Rahn has returned with an ambitious new “country soul” tune, that’s reminiscent of Darius Rucker, Charley Pride and other soulful country artists. “Highway” was written by Rahn, and it tells of his journey from tragedy to triumph, looking back on the story of his life. It will be released on MTS Records in January 2018. Watch the video for “Highway” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlfkgjnU0ms.

Rahn Anthoni hails from a small town in Florida, now living in Atlanta.. Growing up, he got his first break singing back-up for “The Song Bird Of The South” Dottie Peoples. This led to Anthoni signing with Tate Music Group, who released his first single, "Hold On." The inspirational song gave listeners the encouragement to “Hold On” to life.

Rahn got his first break in television hosting, “Starpower” on The BET Network.
Anthoni has also been in movies, making a cameo appearance in Thina Films’ “Good Deed.” Utilizing his experience and growing interest and knowledge in TV and film, Anthoni developed "The Rahn Anthoni Show," which has received over 1 millions views on Eotm TV . In 2015, Anthoni covered The Oscars Red Carpet for Eotm Media Group.

Then tragedy struck...After losing his special needs son to abuse, allegedly by his son's teacher, Anthoni has become an advocate for special needs kids. The Aaron Hatcher Awards are given every year, in honor of his late son, Aaron Hatcher. His son also inspired him to start the Special Needs Rock Awards and They Can’t Talk But We Can, a non-profit organization providing advocacy for children with disabilities. For more information, visit http://www.theycanttalkbutwecaninc.org/.

Anthoni is also CEO of WMQGRadio.com The Source, the number #1 internet radio station giving back to the Old Skool music.

“Music makes me feel free from all my problems that I have each day,” Anthoni says, and he is glad to pass the feeling along to fans. “It gives me a getaway and expresses love to all my listeners – including myself.”

Today's guest on I Am Refocused Podcast Special Edition is music artist MARK Universe!

Bio

Daemar Montrez Williams (born June 9) better known by his stage name M.A.R.K Universe is an American songwriter, recording artist, and producer from Mobile, Alabama. The founder of his own record label Own Heir Music LLC in 2012, Daemar’s career has seen him emerge as a noted figure within the Alabama Hip Hop scene.

Early life

Daemar was born to Faith Williams in University of South Alabama hospital, in Mobile, Alabama. Having a lifelong interest in music, Daemar cites Outkast and Hot Boyz as big influencers on developing his early love of rap than began at 6. Raised principally in Alabama, Daemar’s family also moved a number of times when he was young, allowing him to experience life growing up in New York and California as well as Alabama, and Daemar has cited the diversity of this experience as a key influence on his early interest in music and art.

At 14, Daemar began rapping, first by himself, before joining a number of Mobile-local acts, including Million Dollar Team, and Straight Loaded

The Atlanta Years

Daemar’s grew strong recognition in Mobile and Huntsville during his years performing there but ultimately felt in 2006 the desire to move to a bigger market to test himself with new challenges, and grow his career before a new audience.

Moving to Atlanta in August of 2006, Daemar began work on his first professional project "Ima Superstar". The 5 track EP was well received among the Atlanta rap scene, with particular praise given to the humour and quirky style of its lead track "Box of Chicken".

Development of the Mark Universe Stage Name

Daemar developed the Mark Universe stage name in 2007. MARK, an acronym for Made A Righteous King and the use of Universe intended to signify one verse, Mark has cited the combination of the two names as an ongoing source of inspiration, and of the possibility and potential for all other artists around him.

Tomorrow Starts Today

Of the albums released across Daemar’s career, his 2017 LP Tomorrow Starts Today was especially significant. Hailed as evidencing a new level of skill and depth by the impassioned rapper, Tomorrow Starts Today also served as a springboard to a new level by Daemar.
In the same year, he placed as a finalist in December within the IGNITE URBAN National Finals, and seeing Daemar recognized as one of the United States’ most exciting emerging rappers.

Founding Own Heir Music

Daemar founded Own Heir Music in 2012 with a goal to provide a label ‘by artists, for artists’. One that would also serve as a platform for collaboration between Daemar and artists he admired. Alongside Darmar’s works, Own Heir has notably been associated with graphic artist and rapper Rico Knight.

Having had over 1 million plays on Pandora throughout his career, Daemar’s label has been increasingly sought after by local artists seeking to build their own music, and understanding of how to build a successful music career in the digital era.

Personal life

Daemar is married and a father of three

Today's guests on I Am Refocused Podcast is Trevor Loudon and Lt Col (ret) Roy White

Trevor Loudon Bio

Editor-in-Chief Trevor Loudon

Trevor Loudon is an author, filmmaker and public speaker from Christchurch, New Zealand. For more than 30 years, he has researched radical left, Marxist and terrorist movements and their covert influence on mainstream politics.

Trevor Loudon’s thesis is that what is commonly regarded as mainstream political policy is in fact driven and guided by hidden subversive elements. The Democratic party’s consistent defunding of the US military, Obamacare, the Iran Nuclear Deal, normalization of relations with Cuba, Islamic refugee re-settlement, $15 minimum wage, fracking bans, pipeline shutdowns and the push for illegal alien amnesty are all consistent with far-left and Islamist agendas.

Trevor Loudon believes that these forces must be exposed and countered, as America’s continued role as a bastion of freedom is pivotal for the future of western civilization.

Some of Trevor Loudon’s accomplishments:

Trevor’s hard-hitting political documentary, the Enemies Within, was released in 2016.
In Collaboration with the Capital Research Center, Trevor Loudon and Director Judd Saul created a series of mini-documentaries free to the public:
America Under Siege: Civil War 2017
America Under Siege: Soviet Islam
America Under Siege: Antifa
Trevor Loudon discovered the long-hidden relationship between notorious Hawaiian Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis and the young Barack Obama in 2007.
After extensively researching Obama’s ties to the New York and Chicago Marxist movements, Loudon began publishing his findings online, catching the eye of such prominent voices as Accuracy in Media and syndicated radio host Glenn Beck.
In 2009 Loudon exposed the communist roots of Obama “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones. After an extensive campaign by Glenn Beck and others, Jones was forced to resign from his White House position.
Since 2011 Loudon has toured the United States promoting his two books “Barack Obama and the Enemies Within” and “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress” – an extensively footnoted expose of the rapidly unfolding Marxist takeover of the United States government.
Loudon has addressed more than 400 conservative, tea party, religious and Republican groups in more than 37 states.
Loudon has interviewed many people from both sides of the struggle over the years to former Western intelligence offices, to government undercover operatives inside the communist movement, to former KGB officers.

This research has given Loudon unique insight into how extensively often minuscule communist parties have been able to manipulate, and even control policy formation in many Western countries – particularly the “main enemy:” the United States of America. Loudon’s research shows that this is not just a historical problem, but is a very grave and looming threat which will not only impact America’s national security but indeed her very survival.

Trevor proudly serves as a fellow at both the American Freedom Alliance and the Inter-American Institute for Philosophy, Government, and Social Thought.
