Frank Figliuzzi - NBC News National Security Analyst and to learn more go to frankfigliuzzi.com

The upcoming Democratic National Convention will be a significant political moment where all eyes will be on Chicago. Is law enforcement's ability to secure this iconic American event in a vulnerable state?

We've all heard about the assassination attempt on Trump-have the various security team in place for the DNC learned anything from that incident?Frank Figliuzzi, national security analyst and regular columnist for NBC News and MSNBC, can address these issues.

As the former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI and representative to the security, threat and intelligence team overseeing security for the 1988 DNC in Atlanta, Figliuzzi can discuss the risks/threats that law enforcement will be watching for at the DNC in Chicago, including:

. The attempted assassination of former president Trump may incite copy-cat attempts on the democratic party nominees and they travel in and around the DNC.
. The FBI director previously advised Congress that the "most lethal" for of domestic violent extremism is racially/ethnically motivated. The fact that Kamala Harris is of mixed race increases the threat to the DNC.
. The lone actor, intent on violence, is the toughest threat to defeat.. In addition to domestic terror, the global picture - including the Israel-Gaza conflict, pending retaliation against Israel from Iran and/or Hizbollah, and potential coordination between Hamas, ISIS and other groups, means that international actors could be contemplating a high-profile attack here, during the DNC.
. Expect unprecedented security around the DNC, with the Secret Service under a very bright spotlight right now.

In this compelling and candid interview, Fred Trump III, nephew of former President Donald Trump and author of the revealing memoir All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way, breaks his silence on what it’s like to grow up in one of the most powerful and scrutinized families in the world. Fred shares his personal journey of navigating the complex dynamics of the Trump family, his fight to protect his own, and the untold stories that have shaped the public and private personas of America’s most famous dynasty.

ABOUT FRED TRUMP AND ALL IN THE FAMILY: The Trumps and How We Got This Way

With revealing, never-before-told stories, Fred C. Trump III, nephew of President Donald Trump, breaks his decades-long silence in this honest memoir and sheds a whole new light on the family name.

For the record.Fred Trump never asked for any of this. The divisive politics. The endless headlines. A hijacked last name. The heat-seeking uncle, rising from real estate scion to gossip column fixture to The Apprentice host to President of the United States. Fred just wanted a happy life and a satisfying career. But a fight for his son's health and safety forced him onto a center stage that he had never wanted. And now, at a crucial point for our nation, he is stepping forward again.

In All in the Family, Fred delves into his journey to become a "different kind of Trump," detailing his passionate battle to protect his wife and children from forces inside and outside the family. From the Trump house to the White House, Fred comes to terms with his own complex legacy and faces some demons head-on. It's a story of power, love, money, cruelty, and the unshakable bonds of family, played out underneath a glaring media spotlight.

All in the Family is the inside story, as it's never been told.

The Washington Post said, "Fred C. Trump III cast[s] aside decades of silence to delve into the roots of the Trump family's dysfunction at a critical moment in American political history...juicily entertaining...a dishy portrait," while Slate calls Fred, "The only normal Trump." Born into arguably today's most famous family in the world, Fred Trump worked to keep his immediate family out of the media spotlight. But as he says in the book, "silence is golden only where there is nothing that needs to be said." Now as a divided nation gears up for the 2024 presidential election, Fred has decided this is the moment to share a very different family story. A story that could shape the decision of a nation.

In this candid and revealing memoir, he recounts for the first time what it was like growing up Trump: from his grandfather Fred amassing the real family wealth to the win-at-all-cost dynamics between Donald Trump and his siblings-wins that threatened the health and safety of Fred's son, who was diagnosed with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

With extraordinary access from the Trump house to the White House, Fred Trump shares his never-before-told stories with warmth and heart-but also shines a light into the darker corners of the Trump empire.
