Pete Price has been the lead guitarist in The Fries Band; https://www.facebook.com/thefriesband/ for the past 30 years. Born in Ferguson, Missouri and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Price grew up under the influence of thoughtful introspective artists such as Neil Young, Simon and Garfunkel, and James Taylor. The Beatles and the British Invasion also influenced Price’s formative years. As a teen he began writing and performing his own songs, first at church and local Dayton bars and later at open stages and clubs in Denver, CO. He returned to Dayton in the late ‘80’s and started performing at Canal St. Tavern, W.O. Wrights, eventually joining The Fries Band in early 1992.

The Fries Band is a popular Dayton group that has opened for numerous national acts including The Guess Who, Gladys Knight and The Pips, Martina McBride, Steve Morse (Dixie Dregs), Mick Fleetwood and the Zoo, Kansas, and many more national acts since their founding over 30 years ago. Pete embarked on a solo career in 2022, releasing his first album, Department of the Interior as a side project. He also performs in The Fairview Stringers, an acoustic duo and on very rare occasions with The Price Brothers, playing his original music.

Lynn Abaté-Johnson’s Bio

After being a primary caregiver for her mother for over six years, author Lynn Abate-Johnson understands the typhoon of emotions and responsibilities that come with caring for a loved one. However, she discovered how to blossom through (and after) caregiving rather than let it drown her. By using her natural organizational skills and her solid work ethic, she developed systems and processes to help navigate the difficult journey of caregiving, which allowed her to go from “What am I going to do without my mom?” to “I know I can thrive after she’s gone–just as she would want.” Like most caregivers, Lynn juggled caregiving duties with a full-time career. In her daily life, she’s a business consultant and global community builder. She’s been building businesses from the ground up since she was nine years old.

One of her recent accomplishments was growing the global online community for one of the world’s most respected leadership development and professional coach training organizations by 150% in her first four years as a professional community builder. Lynn educates cohorts of caregivers and executives inside conscious brands to help them discover that there are tools they can use to support people in bringing their whole selves to work. Her book, Out of Love: A Daughter's Journey With Her Mom To The End, provides care for family caregivers by giving them the emotional and logistical support they need, even when they are working in paying careers. About the Book: Lynn’s words offer a uniquely personal glimpse into her journey as a daughter of a strong mother, along with her own transformation in the aftermath of being a caregiver.

Lynn’s approach removes the stigma of grief, Her expressive and often vulnerable ways of sharing help to normalize what many families may take for granted or miss in their often overwhelming and new experience as caregivers. There will be discomfort, shame, guilt, and layers of conditioning to discover in this book, with the goal of bringing light to the dark and peace to the soul. These words are also interactive, meaning you will find practical, logistical tools and resources on the accompanying website: LynnAbateJohnsonBook.com.

ARTICLE ON JOHN WICK 4 FROM THEWRAP.COM Final 'John Wick 4' Trailer Has Keanu Reeves Facing Off Against Action Movie Royalty Lionsgate has dropped its third and final trailer for "John Wick: Chapter 4." The Keanu Reeves-led action franchise is the brightest bright spot on Lionsgate's theatrical slate and their most obvious hope for a 2023 breakout. To those in the know, the likes of Chinese action-god Donnie Yen (also seen by Americans in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Shanghai Knights" and "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage") and direct-to-DVD and VOD action king Scott Adkins (also seen by American theatergoers in "Doctor Strange" and "Expendables 2") qualify as added value elements. The film will give these folks a higher-profile platform, at least in terms of mainstream Hollywood audiences, to show off their star power. Clancy Brown showing up and subtly riffing on his "Highlander" appearance is for fans old enough to have kids who can buy an R-rated movie ticket sans parent or guardian. Directed by Chad Stahelski, "John Wick: Chapter 4" sees the beleaguered not-so-retired hitman accepting an offer from the High Council to settle his life debt. The last three "Wick" flicks pulled near-unprecedented commercial growth, going from $88 million worldwide in 2014, to $171 million in 2017, to $322 million in 2019. In pre-COVID times, the big questions were whether a fourth chapter could continue that momentum and whether the franchise would expand its overseas muscle. "John Wick: Chapter 4" opens theatrically on March 24th Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjRHZEUamCc

ARTICLE FROM POLYGON.COM John Wick Chapter 4 puts one of our greatest action heroes in a giant prosthetic suit The John Wick movies are a stuntman's franchise. Directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are legendary stunt performers and coordinators, and one of the joys of their movies getting bigger with each installment is seeing Stahelski (who now directs the films solo) fold in more and more action pros from around the world, like Mark Dacascos of Wu Assassins fame or The Raid's Yayan Ruhian. John Wick: Chapter 4 continues this tradition, notably with Hong Kong star Donnie Yen and the king of direct-to-video action himself, Scott Adkins - but like we've never seen him before. Scott Adkins is normally seen doing insanely athletic kicks. He has the sort of physique you might expect from someone who must convincingly portray action heroes who can knock someone's lights out with his shins. Here, on the other hand, is how he will appear as "Killa" in John Wick: Chapter 4:

Adkins is playing against type here in a way that feels a lot like Colin Farrell's Penguin in The Batman - and previous Adkins movies like Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday show off the action star's willingness to have fun while kicking ass. Regardless of how much pain Adkins dishes out (or doesn't!) as Killa, John Wick: Chapter 4 is Adkins' highest-profile role to date. It may be a lot of people's first exposure to him. What a kick they're gonna get out of seeing what he's usually up to, once they dig into his back catalog. John Wick: Chapter 4 is in theaters March 24th. SCOTT ADKINS BIO (FROM WIKIPEDIA) Scott Adkins (born 17 June 1976) is an English actor, film producer and martial artist. He is best known for his role as the Russian prison fighter Yuri Boyka in the Undisputed franchise. He has played Yuri Boyka in the 2006 film Undisputed II: Last Man Standing and its two sequels, Undisputed III: Redemption (2010) and Boyka: Undisputed (2017); Casey Bowman in the 2009 film Ninja and its 2013 sequel Ninja: Shadow of a Tear; French in the 2018 film The Debt Collector and its 2020 sequel Debt Collectors (starring alongside Louis Mandylor). He worked in four films with his idol Jean-Claude Van Damme: The Shepherd: Border Patrol, Assassination Games, Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning and The Expendables 2. He also had starring roles in The Legend of Hercules, Wolf Warrior and Ip Man 4: The Finale playing the main antagonist in all three films, and also appeared in The Bourne Ultimatum, Zero Dark Thirty, and the Marvel projects Mutant X, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Doctor Strange. In 2022, he starred in Day Shift with Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco, and will appear in John Wick: Chapter 4 alongside Keanu Reeves in 2023.
