A six-month job trial has turned into 23 years. Graphic designer and waitress turned business owner, Fox Vending has been in business for 62 years and Jennifer has been a part of it for 23 years. From selling cigarettes from a vending machine, Jennifer has evolved with a grab and go self-checkout approach which is a more recent concept in vending.
Jennifer's biggest barrier was her dad! During the 23 years, Jennifer and her dad had old school new school conflict but overcame the generational gap and their relationship is still strong today.
Jennifer believes in gratitude and practices it every day. Jennifer shared her story and received comments from others stating that she inspired them to stop drinking. Jennifer knew that there was a bigger calling to share her story telling along with raising money to have a way to give back to Herren project in her brother Justin's name. Jennifer came up with Dragonolia in memory of her brother Justin and her mother. A dollar from every bag of coffee sold goes to the Herren project. The goal is to send someone to treatment every year.
Finding beauty in the darkness – the tag line of Dragonolia. One dollar from every bag goes to the Herren Project in Justin's name. https://herrenproject.org/

"An obstacle is really just an opportunity." - Noah H Pines
"I do messy cases. I do a lot of appellate work where people have been convicted and sentenced to prison for the rest of their life including projects for the Innocence Project." - Noah H Pines
How do you get through the tough times? Noah has had adversity in his life but has not let it stop him. Noah uses barriers to reset, restart and then does better. Noah has learned more from the cases that he's lost than the cases that he's won.
One of the most rewarding things that Noah does is to push a wheelchair for the Kyle Pease Foundation. Noah will be pushing an athlete with a disability in the Marine Corp Marathon this October. The disabled athletes feel the same endorphin rush that the runners do. The Kyle Pease Foundation's vision is to create opportunities of inclusion for every person with a disability.

"Take your profit and get out." – Gary Christy (Trader Hawk)
"It's not all about homeruns, it's about base hits. Those base hits add up over time." – Sean Gallaher (TraderMc)
People land here because they've lost money at other groups and they're looking for a place to stop losing money. It's not a 9 to 5 job, you need to spend the time to learn. The strategy works every day. We can't guarantee that you will make money, but the strategy works every day. Gary says that it's so simple a cave man can do it.
Gary started a nightly recap session based off of his daily posts. That then morphed into teaching people what Gary knew and how his strategy was working. Sean developed a beginners 6-week course that established a good foundation to learn about trading options.

My first repeat guest, Mario Minnaert! Exactly a year later I have Mario Minnaert back on the podcast to update us with his new business, his achievements this past year and looking forward to the rest of 2023.
How does Mario work with clients that feel overwhelmed? Focus on getting clarity, what are you doing today and what do I need to do today or next week. Once you establish those priorities you can create a plan. You also don't need to do everything all at once.
Mario and I are huge process fans. We feel that the process is the real goal over the end result. It sounds odd, but we've found it to be true. When you hit that goal you feel unstoppable. More importantly, who is the person that you became along the way?
