Episode 25 of Traumatically Speaking, I Knew It, I Knew You, is a little different.

There are no notes. No outline. No carefully planned talking points. Just two traumatized sisters having a very real conversation about heartbreak, healing, and what happens when your biggest wounds get activated by someone you love.

In this raw and unscripted episode, Sloan shares the story of her most recent breakup and the healing journey that followed. What started as heartbreak quickly became a deep dive into attachment theory, self-awareness, and the ways our childhood wounds can quietly sabotage authentic connection.

Together, Sloan and Lex discuss attachment styles, emotional triggers, and the painful dance that can happen when a disorganized attachment style collides with what Sloan believes may have been an avoidant attachment style. They explore how trauma shows up in relationships, why healing isn't linear, and what it means to finally choose yourself when everything in you wants to chase someone else.

For the first time, Sloan also shares just how devastating the breakup became, including the period where the grief nearly cost her life and the lessons she learned while finding her way back to herself.

But because this is still Traumatically Speaking, the episode doesn't stay in the darkness. It ends with an unexpected encounter, a conversation about the universe's timing, and Sloan's answer to the question everyone secretly wants to ask:

What would happen if her ex came back?

It's messy. It's honest. It's heartbreaking. It's hopeful.

And unfortunately, it's probably going to feel a little familiar.
