This meditation is intended for those who are ready to embark on a journey of forgiveness with someone in their life. It is a profound and potentially intense experience. Before you start, take a few deep breaths and observe the space around you to create a sense of safety. Once you feel secure, you can begin the meditation. If you feel any discomfort, return to your breath and open your eyes if necessary. The purpose of this meditation is to support you on your path to forgiveness. Remember, we forgive others primarily for our own peace and healing, which in turn naturally benefits the other person.
After completing the meditation, take some time to reflect on what arose for you. Make a note of the sensations in your body, your emotions, and your thoughts. What messages came through to support you on this journey, and what steps need to be taken to move forward, process, release and integrate?
Remember to be kind to yourself and understand that whatever arises during the meditation is there for a reason.
