It’s Christmas! Or, at least, it was a few days ago! So let’s celebrate the end of 2019 and the end of Ideal Remake Season 2 with another Shane Black-mas episode!

This year we’re talking about LETHAL WEAPON with guest Trevor Reece (@trevorcopter)!

I wasn’t sure Lethal Weapon was a Christmas movie, but when the opening credits are scored with “Jingle Bell Rock”, well… Shane Black is Shane Black after all!

So thank you all for listening this year and look forward to one final mini-episode next week!

It’s time to go on a journey into The Zone. It’s a realm that we do not understand. It is dangerous. It is terrifying. But in the center of The Zone is a room that is said to fulfill your deepest desire. If you can make it there.

This week Sam Gasch (@SamGasch) will be discussing Tartovsky’s movie Stalker with guest Dmitry Portnoy.

It’s Ideal Remake’s first art-house movie and we hope you enjoy it!

Hey kids! Remember a time when everything in the movie Sixteen Candles was okay? Well not anymore!

Brigid Marshall (@BrigidMarshall) is going to help Sam Gasch (@SamGasch) bring this John Hughes movie into the 21st century!

We’re talking racism! We’re talking blatant misogyny! And since we’ve got time, we’ll talk casting too. It’s a fun episode, so check it out!

Do you think you can handle it? Are you a coo-oo-oo-oo-l rider? Well I hope you checked out episode 56, because now we’re doing the sequel! It’s GREASE 2!

And returning to Ideal Remake is fantastic development exec and fellow nerd Sam Schifrien (@samschif527)!

We talk about a movie neither of us has seen since we were kids and if it…. holds up. (Spoiler: NO!)

It’s rare that you get an opportunity to talk about a movie that takes place in the present. Like, the actual present. Like this movie takes place in Los Angeles in November 2019.

WHOA!

This week, thanks to Kevin Mosteller (@KevMostStellar) we’re discussing the sci-fi classic Blade Runner!

One of the most interesting peaks at a possible future ever made, and that future is here. It’s now.

Fun!
