Ideal Remake

This episode comes out on June 8th which means my birthday was two days ago!! Reach out to @IdealRemake on Instagram or @SamGasch on Twitter to wish me happy birthday!

And now we’re talking about DUNE in JUNE! Paul is our chosen one destined to have all the… brain powers that the chosen one obviously has!

And to help us figure out what exactly David Lynch was doing when he made this movie is Katelyn Rodgers (@Silver_Screen_Bridal)! Katelyn works in costumes and is a fan of the Dune books, so our remake still-suits are gonna be RAD!

In a rare turn of events, we’re talking about a movie that not only had Sam seen, but he owns!

Yes, we’re talking about 2000’s BEDAZZLED, starring Brendan Frasier and Elizabeth Hurley!

I loved this movie in high school! And college. And probably now, still. But it is definitely problematic and deserves the remake treatment. And the perfect person to guest this episode was Lauren Bancroft (@Bancroffed) from the Pingcroft Pod, Historical Hookups, and Pingcroft Loft!

And when I say we remade this movie, we REMADE this movie! Get hyped and check it out!

It’s a movie that has been quoted for 25 years. But that’s because Jim Carrey is saying easily repeatable catch-phrases the whole time!

But is Ace Ventura: Pet Detecitve as good as you remember it? (NOPE!)

Sam Gasch (@SamGasch) is joined by Lucé Tomlin-Brenner (@LTBcomedy) and Cozi Orlen to remake this 90s, Jim Carrey comedy!

We told you we weren’t going to say it, but FINE! I’ll be back! There. Happy now?

And we are! We are happy! Because Last Action Hero was an AMAZING movie! And we’re remaking it this week all thanks to Daniel Oliveira (@DogDads on Instagram)! So Thank you! Because I loved this movie and was so excited to talk about it! So listen in and hear us remake the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie ABOUT Arnold Schwarzenegger movies!

You know what sux?

*turns 8 sideways*

Everything.

But not podcasts! Podcasts will always be here for you. But we’re doing a small twist today! Scott Carelli (@ScottCarelli), podcaster extraordinaire, suggested we take a movie and do a PREmake, instead of remaking it now, what if the current version was itself a remake of something that came out in the 90s?

And friends, that’s just what we did with Scott Pilgrim vs The World. And it was so much fun!
