And joining Sam will be Claire Mulkerin (@ClaireMulkerin) and Tanner Vogelsang (@SparkyUpstart)! We're taking a movie that was three other smooshed up movies and turning it into one good movie! Hopefully!

  • Flashdance

We’re trying some new things this month! This week we’re talking about a movie that neither I, NOR my guest had ever seen, but we both WANTED to see! It was a super fun experiment!

Meredith Hackman (@Big_Mer), returning guest, and I watched FLASH DANCE!! Is it misogynistic and infantilizing? Sure. But it is also a fun dance movie. That we had fun watching! And fun remaking!

  • High Spirits

We’ve got a castle to save! This Irish hamlet is a wonder, but it’s being foreclosed on! Oh no! Guess we better fake some ghosts and spooks to bring in those tourist bucks! That failed too? Oh man, that’s going to annoy the REAL ghosts!

Returning Guest Chris O’Connor (@chrisoconnoriv) of the TMNT Minute podcast (@TMNTMinute) brought this movie to Sam’s attention and we both had a great time remaking this forgotten 80’s gem. It may not be good, but it is super fun!

  • Assassin’s Creed

Sure, they might be putting you to death for murder, but that’s FINE because we’re going to make you into a SPECIFIC kind of murderer. An assassin! This is a good plan.

We’re remaking Assassin’s Creed on this week’s episode of Ideal Remake! Is this the newest movie we’ve ever discussed? Well maybe, but that’s just how returning guest Alex Caine (@acaine47) rolls!

Now let’s cut off a finger and then inexplicably be better at climbing things!
