Ideal Remake

This week we’re joined by fantastic director and producer Thomai Hatsios! Thomai was the first person to ever cast me in something out here, and we’ve been friends ever since!

When I reached out to Thomai, she said she wanted to remake Pretty Woman! And that’s what we did!

I had never seen this movie. In many ways it exceeded my expectations, and in many ways it fell very short of them. So today we’re remaking this movie and learning maybe a billionaire can’t solve all your problems?

We might be too scared to go in to the spooky mansion, but a Scooby Snack should be enough to convince us to go in!

We’re remaking 2002’s Scooby-Doo with returning guest Paul Presley! (PawlPrezlee on Instagram)

Think you have the guts to solve the mystery of Spooky Island? Us neither, but we’re still gonna try!

Zoinks!

You ever feel like you’re running over the tops of trains cars, terrified of the the ride, but also of when the train cars end? But then they do end and you leap and find a rope! But that rope is attached to a water tower and you are DOWSED in hundreds of gallons of water. And you get up and run away and find out years later that this whole ordeal actually broke your neck?

Buster Keaton movies are INTENSE. Intensely AMAZING!!

We’re remaking Sherlock Jr. with guest Corsica Wilson (@corsicajeanne)! Enjoy!

I’m posting this the evening of Monday, November 2nd. I sure hope this episode drops and we still have a democracy! That would be great! Heh heh heh *sobs*

We’re talking about Escape from New York this week! Feel like you’re trapped in a dystopian hellscape? No escape, with rampaging mobs of ravenous cannibals? Chock Full O’ Nuts wasn’t QUITE as safe as you’d hoped it would be? Well let’s watch Escape from New York and then remake it with Kevin Mosteller (@KevMostStellar)!

That’ll fix everything!

Well well well, what have we here? Podcast listeners huh? Ooooo I’m really scared! So this is the episode everyone is talkin’ about? Hahahaha!

It’s funny! You’ll be laughing! It really is too much. And now, with your permission, we’re going to do our stuff.

For this year’s Halloween episode, we’re remaking THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!! Guests Kim Vruggink (@Kim_Vruggink) and Bethany Koulias (@bethanykoulias) are here to ensure we have an appropriately spoopy time.
