Ideal Remake

You could practically write a whole book about this week’s episode! In fact they did! Then it was a play. Then a movie (THIS movie!) Then a staged musical. Then a MOVIE musical!

Oh man, Auntie Mame gets around! Wait…

I’m so glad my friend Nikki D (@2_Girls_1Up) suggested this movie! What a fun choice! Completely different from anything I was expecting, and the social commentary still holds up!

So get dressed up because this episode only gets invited to the most fashionable dos!

Dudes, we’re releasing this episode a day early because the bubble gum holding this phone booth together is wearing out. And also because today is the 30th Anniversary for BILL & TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE!!

This episode was Meredith Hackman’s (@Big_Mer) idea, but we’re going to let that slide because it’s still SORTA a good idea. And we also are happy to welcome back Laser Molina-Weber (@LaserMWebber)!

I love this movie to bits. Although I MAY love the sequel more. But I’m excited to talk about it with two awesome people!

For the FIRST episode of Season 2, we have been recruited to fight Zur and the Kodan armada! We got the high score, and now it’s time to save the galaxy!

It’s The Last Starfighter! Mario Hernandez (@cinemario) a hilarious improviser and a fantastic host is here to give us all the cheat codes!

This 80s classic was a lot of fun to talk about, but GOSH! Those graphics! You don’t get to be one of the first computer-animated anything without being ready for a serious remake!

Wolfman does indeed have Nards.

It’s the Shane Black Holiday special! And we’re talking about MONSTER SQUAD!! Joining Sam this week is past guest and award-winning horror director Kevin Mosteller (@KevMostStellar, @BrdrlineCriminl)!

Kevin loved this movie as a kid and I first saw it a few years ago. When we both returned to this movie we had… thoughts. But we end up with an fantastic remake that I can’t wait to watch! … Someday!

But for now, check out this episode and get into the Shane Black holiday spirit!

NOTE: This movie does not take place at Christmas.
