Why does 3:00 AM feel so different?

If you are awake at 3:00 AM, it does not automatically mean something is wrong with you. Your body temperature drops. Your brain moves through strange sleep cycles. Your mind can mistake “I am awake” for “something is wrong.” And sometimes the old human night just feels bigger than we expected.

Sometimes the answer is almost nothing.
