A new DC Comics superhero TV series will be announced soon, according to CCO of DC Entertainment Geoff Johns. Johns teased the news in a series of tweets listing his top five most anticipated DC events of 2017, one of which is watching new seasons of several DC TV series, like The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. Johns then promised that one of the shows he's looking forward to "will be announced soon.

Despite reports that it was a done deal, it seems there's a chance The Batman may not be directed by Ben Affleck, as the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star says he won't helm the upcoming DC film unless it comes together in a way that be believes will be "really great." In an interview with The Guardian, Affleck said that while thecurrent plan is for him to direct the solo Batman movie, nothing is cemented. "That's the idea. But it's not a set thing and there's no script," he explained.

Matthew McConaughey has come forward to explain why he turned down a role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 for the opportunity to star as the Man in Blackin Sony's upcoming film adaptation of The Dark Tower. Studios will debut another new type of Power Ranger called Mastodon Sentries. As you can see, the militaristic Ranger gets its name from the mantle of the Black Ranger worn by Zack. At this point, every member of the current Guardians of the Galaxy have had at least one solo series to their name exact one, Gamora. That's despite the fact that this incredibly old, incredibly feared assassin probably deserves her own comic more than any of them. But at long last, Marvel is ready to make up for lost time, and Gamora is shaping up to be a worthwhile read for those who want to learn more about his she earned her reputation as the most deadly woman in the galaxy.
